First Line Friday #41-Edgewater Road

Happy Friday, my bookish friends! Any plans for the weekend? My plan for this weekend is similar to last week, tomorrow I will rest from another very busy/emotional week. Sunday will be busy and I need energy for it. Welcome back to First Line Friday hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and leave a comment with the first line (or your link).  This week I am reading Edgewater Road by Shelley Shepard Gray. It is the first book in her new series The Rumors in Ross County.

Can't Wait Wednesday-The Blackout Book Club

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing The Blackout Book Club by Amy Lynn Green. If I am being honest I am tired of books set in World War II, I have overdosed! But, I LOVE Amy's writing and I truly cannot wait to read this one because I know it will be fantastic!!!
