First Line Friday #65-Books Can Be Deceiving

Happy Friday, my bookish friends! Welcome back to First Line Friday hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and leave a comment with the first line (or your link).  This week I am reading Books Can Be Deceiving by Jenn McKinlay. It is the first book in the Library Lover's Mystery series.

Author: John Eldredge

Genre:Christian Nonfiction, Self-help, Christian Living

My review:

I got Get Your Life Back: Everyday Practices for a World Gone Mad from the library and started reading it. Within a few pages I had so many tabs I knew I needed to buy the book, so I did! That way, I could mark it as I went.  I had not read anything by John Eldredge before, but I look forward to reading more from him.

Can't Wait Wednesday-Body of Evidence

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Body of Evidence by Irene Hannon. It comes out October 4, 2022. It is the third book in the Triple Threat series.

Top Ten Tuesday-Typographic Book Covers

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Typographic Book Covers (Book covers with a design that is all or mostly all words. You can also choose to do books with nice typography if that’s easier!) (Submitted by Mareli @ ElzaReads). I am going to try to go with books I still need to read. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Ten Typographic Book Covers of books I still need to read:

Love and the Dream Come True

TitleLove and the Dream Come True

Series: State of Grace #3

Author: Tammy L. Gray

Genre: Contemporary Fiction, Romance, Christian Fiction

Publisher: Bethany House

My review:

Love and the Dream Come True is the third book in the State of Grace series by Tammy L. Gray. While it could act as a stand-alone novel, I recommend reading the first two books to understand the history of the characters, especially Cameron.
