Stacking the Shelves #188 Sunday Post #185 Sunday Salon #179

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was busy with a few extra appointments, and Wednesday was A DAY, but then Friday rolled around and I got off 2 hours early, with pay! So, I can't complain too much. Friday evening was just lots of relaxing, ordering pizza, watching tv with the family, and reading. We had no plans for the weekend, but now we have 2 house showings, and I woke up sick again this morning. I don't know if whatever I had decided to rear it's ugly head again, or if this is another virus. I had felt mostly better this week, still a slight cough and some congestion, but now my cough is worse again and a ton of congestion. (Update 10/12-secondary bacterial infection from my previous illness that never completely went away)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

It was a much slower reading week. I started Jane Eyre and it is very dense reading (at least at the beginning), I finished three books and DNF'd one this week, one was a reread, and a Christmas book that was supposed to be for a review later in the month, but I actually won't be posting that review. So only one review on the blog this week.

My other blog if you are interested.

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

A lot of Christmas books there! I hope that you enjoy them. I am currently reading a Christmas mystery ready for the Blog Tour later this month.

  6. I am so sorry that you are not feeling great again. I know that one time I had a cough that lasted from Christmas to Easter (and that was a year it was in April). Ugh.

I like your Christmas book. I'm on the lookout for something for December.

  14. That stinks you are under the weather. I can't think of what you could take for that cough but I know tea and lots of honey help with a sore thrat and opens my sinus. Hope your house showing went ok.
I like the looks of that cookbook.
