My Review:
I put this book off for a few weeks because the title was hitting a little too close to home, LOL. However, I have to let go of my regret of judging a book by its title and assuming it would be similar to my situation.

Series: Maple Valley #2
Author: Melissa Tagg
Source: Library
My Review:
Some Bright Someday is the second in the Maple Valley series. I didn't realize that some of the characters first appeared in the Walker series (I haven't read it). I didn't feel like I missed anything, but I would have preferred to know that before diving into this series. This book can easily be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading Now and Then and Always first.

Series: Boundless #1
Author: Amy Caldwell

My Review:
Boundless took me a little bit to get into. I couldn't relate to Oakleigh, her lifestyle, or take her seriously. She is a very spoiled brat.

Series: Hope Harbor #12
Author: Irene Hannon
Source: Hoopla/Library
My Review:
I started listening to this book on Hoopla, but I was not enjoying the narrator's narration, which is odd because I typically like books read by Thérèse Plummer. It may have been the multiple points of view shared that contributed to my dissatisfaction with the narration.

Series: Trinket Sisters #2
Author: Kristi Ann Hunter
Source: Own
My Review:
Amy is a new believer, and her sister, Emma, has given her a list of things she now "must" do. It is overwhelming, and Amy is determined to figure it all out on her own; she doesn't need someone else telling her what to do.

Series: Hidden Hearts of the Gilded Age #.5
Author: Crystal Caudill

My Review:
I don't read novellas very often because I don't feel like they give the full story, or enough of the story to be invested in the storyline.

Author: Angela Ruth Strong

My Review:
I had the honor of meeting Angela Ruth Strong at a reader event in November of 2024. At that time, this book was in progress, and Angela was telling me a little bit about it. I was excited about the uniqueness of the storyline. Claire Holloway Is Winging It did not disappoint.

My Review:
I love reading Jaime Jo Wright's books. They are well-written and engaging.

Series: Pleasant Gap #2
Author: Pepper Basham

My Review:
When You Look At Me is a heartwarming story about coming out on the other side of the darkest trials.

Series: Texas Ever After #2
Author: Karen Witemeyer
Narrator:
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
If the Boot Fits is the second of Karen Witemeyer's Texas Ever After series. Since the stories are fairy tale retellings, they don't need to be read in any particular order.

My Review:
The Amish Twins Next Door is a sweet story about moving forward and second chances.

Series: Holly #6
Author: C.C. Warrens

My Review:
Do not start this series on this book, or even in the middle of the series. Do yourself a favor and start at the beginning of the series. This book and your overall experience of the series will be so much richer for it.

Series: Holly #4

I loved being back with Holly again!

Amazing!!

Series: Bookstrings #3
Author: Chautona Havig

My Review:
I am really enjoying the Bookstrings series and was super excited for this book. While Cross Words could be read as a standalone novel, I highly recommend reading the other books first, since this book mentions characters/situations from previous books.

Series: Serendipity & Secrets #3
Author: Erica Vetsch
Narrator: Mary Sarah
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
I have really enjoyed this series! I wasn't going to read this one because it seemed like the series wrapped up in book two, but this book is Sophia's story (Marcus's sister).

Series: Seeking Justice #1
Author: C. C. Warrens

My Review:
This is my second time reading this story, but the first time reading it in chronological order. This is the first in the Seeking Justice series, but it comes after Crossed Off, the third Holly novel.

Series: Holly #3
Author: C. C. Warrens

My Review:
I am enjoying rereading the Holly series, and this is the second time I have read Crossed Off. I can see why my original review is so bland:

Series: Holly #1.5
Author: C. C. Warrens

Genre: Christian Fiction, Suspense
