Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List. This is always fun and I have a gazillion books I want to read. Just and FYI, I am struggling and in a weird head space. My mom is not doing well, and is officially in hospice. I am grieving (anticipatory grief), and it is hard for me to focus and keep up with things. If you notice slack over the next few weeks (or past few weeks), this is why. I will be taking steps back and not always participating in all the things, however, I do plan to keep reading! Top Ten Tuesday- Ordinal Numbers
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Book Titles Featuring Ordinal Numbers (Ordinal numbers are numbers that define an item’s place in a series. For example: first, second, third, fourth, tenth, fourteenth, thirty-third, one hundredth, etc.) (submitted by Joanne @ Portobello Book Blog). I am sure I can find something to fit today's prompt, let's see what we have! (Not much as it turns out, will be short and sweet) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Book Preorders
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Genre Freebie. I decided to go with book preorders. I have never done a post like this before, probably because I rarely do preorders (money has always been tight). But, this year, there are a handful of books (7!) I can't wait to get my hands on, so I decided to do preorders. I love being able to support authors in this way, and trust me, I understand not everyone can. I also love supporting my library! Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2026. We'll see if I can narrow this down to 10 since I know quite a few are releasing this year that I want to read...I may have to narrow down the time frame, LOL! (nope, it was easier than I thought!) Top Ten Tuesday-Let it snow!
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books Set in Snowy Places (If snow isn’t your thing, pick another kind of place and share books set there!) I don't have the brain capacity to figure out where books are set and I thought about just doing books with snow on the cover, but instead I think I will go with my favorite Christmas books so far this year...and if they have snow on the cover=bonus! I have read/listened to 17 books and currently am reading one and listening to one, so I have a total of 19 to choose from. First Love, Second Draft
Author: Becca Kinzer
Publisher: Tyndale House
Genre: Christian Fiction, RomCom, Contemporary Romance
Source: Library
My Review:
First Love, Second Draft takes a hot minute to get into with the changing perspectives of the story. You have the story of the main characters, Noah and Gracie, and you also get the perspective of Gracie's nephew Matt.

Top Ten Tuesday-Anticipated releases Jan-Jun
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2025. I had read it wrong and thought it said first quarter, so it was going to be a short list. But, I might actually get ten by doing the first half of the year. I am sure there are a ton of books coming out I am going to want to read, I just don't know about them yet 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Rendezvous update 2
So, part two of the JustRead Rendezvous 2024 reader event. You can read part one here. After lunch was another reader panel. Kimberley Woodhouse was the moderator of this one. Each author had to pick one of their characters to be and only answer as that character. It was hilarious. Several authors on the panel were suspense writers, and a couple were fantasy. Sara Ella was one of the authors and I loved her answers. She was in character as Alice in Wonderland from her book The Wonderland Trials. While I had read several authors books who were on the different panels throughout the day, hearing all the authors talk and interact made me want to read their books, even though several are genres I don't read.

Top Ten Tuesday-Let's go hiking!
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Halloween Freebie. Saturday I went hiking with my husband and yesterday (Monday) I went hiking with my son. I thought it would be fun to do a post on books that have hiking in them. The problem is my memory! I know I read two books recently that had hiking in it and I only remember one of them. I also know there was one book in one of my favorite series, but of course I can't remember which book, LOL! So, what you are actually going to get are books that either have hiking in them, or are set in National parks so might have hiking in them 😂Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
