Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I had a decent week. I was able to walk outside twice this week, which was such a blessing. Thursday was super nice and my boss decided we both needed a half day to enjoy the sunshine. I went to the lake beach that is nearby, walked, then settled in to read my book. I was there an hour and a half, in the 75 degree weather, and it was glorious! Also, the highlight of my week. We are going through a lot of hard and found out Thursday afternoon another member of the family has cancer. We are waiting to hear if it has spread or is confined. This weekend is on the cold/rainy side again, so it is mostly chores and cleaning on our radar. Do you have anything fun planned?

TTT-2026 Spring Pile of possibilities

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List. This is always fun and I have a gazillion books I want to read. Just and FYI, I am struggling and in a weird head space. My mom is not doing well, and is officially in hospice. I am grieving (anticipatory grief), and it is hard for me to focus and keep up with things. If you notice slack over the next few weeks (or past few weeks), this is why.
