Amazing!!

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List. This is always fun and I have a gazillion books I want to read. Just and FYI, I am struggling and in a weird head space. My mom is not doing well, and is officially in hospice. I am grieving (anticipatory grief), and it is hard for me to focus and keep up with things. If you notice slack over the next few weeks (or past few weeks), this is why. I will be taking steps back and not always participating in all the things, however, I do plan to keep reading! Series: Seeking Justice #1
Author: C. C. Warrens

My Review:
This is my second time reading this story, but the first time reading it in chronological order. This is the first in the Seeking Justice series, but it comes after Crossed Off, the third Holly novel.

Series: Holly #3
Author: C. C. Warrens

My Review:
I am enjoying rereading the Holly series, and this is the second time I have read Crossed Off. I can see why my original review is so bland:

Series: Holly #1.5
Author: C. C. Warrens
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Christian Fiction, Suspense
Source: Kindle Unlimited

Series: Holly #2
Author: C. C. Warrens
Source: Own
My Review:
This is my second time reading Cross Fire, the second novel in the Holly series by C.C. Warrens. If you have been around here any length of time, you know that I consider this series one of my all-time favorites. This series MUST be read in order. There is a thread that goes through the entire series.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Genre Freebie. I decided to go with book preorders. I have never done a post like this before, probably because I rarely do preorders (money has always been tight). But, this year, there are a handful of books (7!) I can't wait to get my hands on, so I decided to do preorders. I love being able to support authors in this way, and trust me, I understand not everyone can. I also love supporting my library! Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2026. We'll see if I can narrow this down to 10 since I know quite a few are releasing this year that I want to read...I may have to narrow down the time frame, LOL! (nope, it was easier than I thought!) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Satisfying
Book Series. I love this topic, I think the hardest part will be narrowing it down to ten! I will apologize in advance if I have mentioned all of them a thousand times already 😁. I narrowed it down by choosing series that I have read all the books and none of the books in the series have less than four stars. I narrowed it down further by not allowing myself more than one series per author (I started with over 30 series). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday- Twelve satisfying book series (because I narrowed it down far enough, LOL!)-the first book in each series will be pictured and linked to Goodreads
1. The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens-suspense, thriller, no romance, Christian
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books with a High Page Count (Share those doorstop books!) I think "high" page count is subjective, so I am going to go with 400+ pages as those are books that count toward the "Big Book Challenge" and the limit of what some of my book club members will read for our meetings. So, let's see what I come up with today, I know I don't read as many chunkster books as I used to. I did not include anthologies or Bibles in my list. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books Guaranteed to Put an End to Your Book Slump (Which books would you recommend to someone (it’s me, I’m someone) dealing with the dreaded book slump? No book is grabbing their attention or making them excited to sit down and read and they are suffering for it.) I can't guarantee that these books would get everyone out of a book slump, but these are books that would get me out of a book slump. I was originally going to just go with romcoms, but I decided to be a bit more versatile. The thing they all have in common: the stories stuck with me. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books I’d Like to Re-read (Share either your favorite books that you enjoy re-reading or books that you’d like to read again!) (Submitted by Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog) I am not a huge rereader, but I am finding more and more books that I do want to re-read, so maybe it is growing on me. In order for me to want to read a book again, it has to make an impression, a book that is unforgettable. So, this is a list of unforgettable books that I would love to read again. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Bookish Wishes Like most of you, I have a never ending list of books I want to read, but I have a smaller list of books that I would like to own. As I've gotten older, the list continues to get smaller. I used to want to own every book, now I only want favorites, or books that I can't get at my library. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Authors (or books by authors) Who Live In My State/Country (submitted by Jennifer @ Funk-N-Fiction) I can think of two off the top of my head, but I will try to come up with ten. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books You’d be a Fool Not to Read (Happy April Fool’s Day! In honor of this silly holiday, share the books you think people must read for whatever reason. They could be your favorites, books you deem classics, books that you learned something important from, books you wish you’d read sooner, etc. You could even narrow it down to a specific genre and share the must-reads for that genre. Get creative!) I went back and found the last ten books that I gave five stars to to come up with my list. Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Best Books I Read in 2024. The hardest part about today's topic is going to be narrowing it down. I had 55 books that I marked as a favorite in 2024 (and that's assuming I didn't miss any)! Let's be honest, I am not going to try to get it to 10, but will *try* to keep it around 20. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
A few of my favorites from 2024:
Happy Tuesday and MERRY CHRISTMAS my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes (List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!)
I thought about skipping this one, but I love seeing people's wishlists (don't we all!) and I hope to grant a few wishes today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

| I love Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster. I first read it on Kindle and LOVED the illustrations. I bought a copy for my keeper shelf and it didn't have illustrations!!! So, now I have one on my wishlist. |
