Classics

I want to read more Classics but instead of doing a challenge, I am just going to track them here. I am going to start with the ones I have read this year (2025) and not go back any further, then list the ones I want to read. As I read them, I will add the review to this page. I know if I do the Classics Club I have to start with 50 or more that I want to read, and honestly, at this point I doubt there are that many (that I know of) that I want to read. I am also not 100% sure all of these are classics, but this is what I came up with (the list will grow or shrink over time, LOL)

Read during 2025:

  1. The Nine Taylors by Dorothy Saywers
  2. Emma by Jane Austen
  3. A Diary of Private Prayer by John Baille
  4. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
  5. North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell

Want to read in no particular order:

  1. Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell
  2. The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis
  3. The Life of Charlotte Brontë by Elizabeth Gaskell
  4. Jane Eyre by Charlottte Brontë
  5. A Grief Observed by C. S. Lewis
  6. The Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie
  7. Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie
  8. The Thirteen Problems by Agatha Christie
  9. A Caribbean Mystery by Agatha Christie
  10. Appointment with Death by Agatha Christie
  11. Excellent Women by Barbara Pym
  12. Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes
  13. Pat of Silver Bush by L.M. Montgomery
  14. Just David by Eleanor Porter
  15. My Man Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse
  16. Streams in the Desert by Mrs. Charles Cowman
  17. If by Amy Carmichael
  18. The Sovereignty of God by Arthur Pink
  19. Hinds' Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard
  20. Persuasion by Jane Austen
I think I would like to re-read:
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Little Men by Louisa May Alcott
Jo's Boys by Louisa May Alcott
A Christmas Carol and other Christmas Stories by Charles Dickens
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
Scarlett O'Hara by Margaret Mitchell
