Reviewer Policy

I am taking a limited number of requests at this time. Please carefully read my criteria below.

I pretty much follow Goodreads/Amazon and other's rating system.

5 stars- I will give the book 5 stars if I cannot stop talking about it, love it so much I want to own it, or would reread it (and I am not a person who will usually reread a book).

4 stars- for a great book that I would also talk a lot about, but was missing the final element to make it 5-star worthy.

3 stars -for an interesting book that is worth reading.

2 stars- a book that is not for me, but someone would still enjoy it.

1 star or did not finish- a book that I cannot find anything positive to say about it. (It is SUPER rare for me to not finish a book, I really try to finish what I started, always the optimist, thinking it will get better).

I will mention books that I have received for free, in return for my honest review. These book reviews will say something like "Thank you to whoever for this book, I was not required to give a positive review..." I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commision's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising." If those words are not at the bottom of the review, then it is just me sharing a book that I have purchased, borrowed, or already had and want to share with you.

No matter what I post or review or the reason for the review, I will always post my thoughts and opinions. I pick every book that I review so usually they will get a favorable review, because I am anticipating liking them, hence the reason I pick them!

I do accept reviewer requests. I will answer a request, regardless if I choose to review the book or not, so that you know I have received the request. I will accept the request if it is a book that I think I will enjoy and find interesting, is a clean read (no profanity, explicit scenes, heavily violent with graphic details), and if I have time to read it. I am a sensitive reader and prefer a warning for suicide, abuse, rape or things of that nature. I will give you a general time frame and an honest estimation of when I believe I will be able to get to the book. Please understand that it is an estimation only and I will do my best to fulfill it in the time frame given, but sometimes life happens and deadlines have to be extended.

I am currently ONLY accepting physical copies of books. Going forward all physical copies will be donated to a Little Free Library once I have finished the book.

I tend to avoid: Science fiction, fantasy, heavier historical fiction, alternative universes, some adventure, and anything else that is really out there.

To submit a request simply fill out the blogger contact form located at the bottom of the main page. Please be sure to list the book and blurb, a cover picture if you have it. I will get back to you in a timely manner.

I currently review for these companies:

Revell Blogger

Bethany House

Net Galley

I usually share my posts on GoodReads, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Facebook, occasionally Twitter, Bookbub, Walmart, Christian Book Distributors, Target, and anywhere else the reviewer has requested that a review be left.

  1. Hi, I write the Ghosters book series for middle-grade kids. Ghosters are kids who are able to see ghosts and use these abilities to help them accomplish their goals so they can pass over. My books are a little spooky and have lots of adventure, mystery, and humor. Hope you would consider reviewing my first book, Ghosters 1 The Forbidden Attic.
