My Review:
While this is a stand-alone novel, there is something you need to know. The Duke from Miss Newbury's List and Georgiana from Lakeshire Park are the main characters in this book. If you have not read those books, I highly recommend reading them before starting this one to understand the full story behind these two characters.

My Review:
Here is what you need to know. This is a standalone novel. However, if you have plans to read The Duke's Bargain, Megan Walker's newest release, you should first read Miss Newbury's List, then Lakeshire Park, and finally, The Duke's Bargain. The Duke from Miss Newbury's List and Georgiana from this book are the main characters in The Duke's Bargain.

My Review:
I was intimidated by the size of this book. Instead of committing to reading it straight through, I decided to start with a chapter a day. That didn't last long, as the first chapter captured my interest and curiosity. However, a few chapters in, I started wondering if I should DNF the book.

My Review:
I don't read novellas very often because I don't feel like they give the full story, or enough of the story to be invested in the storyline.

My Review:
I can't believe this is the first book I have read by Megan Walker. Her writing felt like an old friend. I was sure I had read something by her before. Well, now I have a new friend, and I will be reading whatever I can get my hands on by her!

My Review:
If the Boot Fits is the second of Karen Witemeyer's Texas Ever After series. Since the stories are fairy tale retellings, they don't need to be read in any particular order.

My Review:
I have a confession to make. This book has been on my "want to read" list for years. After checking it out of the library multiple times, including on Hoopla, and never reading it, I decided I didn't want to read it. Then, I decided to give it one more try. You all, I almost missed a fabulous book because of some weird mood I had previously been in!!

Where the Last Rose Blooms is the third book in the series, and can be read as a standalone novel. Having said that, I have read the first two books, and wish I had read them closer to reading this one.
