Happy Tuesday, friends! Today I am excited to be doing another link-up with top ten Tuesday. Today the topic is books that have numbers in the title. My first thought is that I don't really read books with numbers in them. Then I thought it would be too hard and almost switched the topic. However, I decided to look at the books in my house, my TBR list on Goodreads, and my books on Kindle to see what I had. It actually ended up being way easier than I thought! I decided I would try to showcase some that might be a little lesser known. For more fun with books that have numbers in the title or other people's take on today's topic check out That Artsy Reader Girl.
Here are ten fiction books that I have not read yet with numbers in the title:
I decided since I had so many nonfiction books to do ten of those as well 😉 (you're welcome😂):I have read all of these nonfiction books and I am on my third reading of Ann Voskamp's book One Thousand Gifts.
Nice list. Indeed, it's easier than you think. Here is my list: https://wordsandpeace.com/2021/09/14/top-ten-book-titles-with-numbers-in-them-french-version/
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma, I was surprised! Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
DeleteI love the cover for One Thousand Gifts.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lydia, it's a great book about being thankful in the everyday, mundane. I highly recommend it.
DeleteYou are an overachiever! LOL. Love that you did two lists one for fiction and one for non-fiction.
ReplyDeleteWell, the first books I came across were nonfiction...I figured more people read fiction than non...so I shared both...win/win, LOL!
DeleteI'm going to have to look of One Last Step and Two O'Clock Slump. They both look intriguing. Great list! :D
ReplyDeleteLark, I have not read them yet, but own them both on my Kindle :) I need to take a month...or year...to read only what I already have, LOL! I have so many on my Kindle I don't even know what all I have. I have started adding them to Goodreads, but it is a process :) #bookproblems :)
DeleteNice! I hadn't heard of any of these before, so good job. THE 5 HABITS OF WOMEN WHO DON'T QUIT looks like one I definitely need to check out since I'm about ready to ditch my dang diet forever, LOL.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
It was a great book, Susan. I am doing the #75hardchallenge and that is what is motivating me to keep exercising and eating right, or I would have thrown it all out the window! I get it.
DeleteThis topic was a lot easier than I expected too. You really went above and beyond with fiction and nonfiction lists! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI was glad it was easy! I didn't want to keep tweaking the topic because I don't want to think, LOL. Also, the first books I came across were nonfiction...I figured more people read fiction than non...so I shared both...win/win, LOL!
DeleteTwo O'Clock Slump looks fun. So does Tacos for Two. Makes me want to find some food truck tacos. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the last cover too with the nest :)
Thanks Greg, I am looking forward to reading them. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat list! We have Tacos for Two in common. I'm looking forward to read it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping my my post earlier! https://readbakecreate.com/books-counting-down-from-ten/
Me too, Pam, thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteFun book lists, Cindy! I love this linkup and want to join in. I kind of scheduled a VERY full month of reviews and...well, you know. Soon, I hope!
ReplyDeleteHi Wren, I am behind on my reviews (face palm!) but love the link-ups :)
DeleteSeeing your list I think of so many I still could have added!
ReplyDeleteI thought that when I saw other people's lists too :)
DeleteI actually don't know any of your books and I love books with numbers in the title... Hmmm - have to take a look here a bit!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know I knew of so many with numbers, so I was pleasantly surprised :)
DeleteGreat job! All of these are new to me, so you succeeded in picking ones that were lesser known. I love when a topic seems to be hard but ends up being easier. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too! Otherwise I end up tweaking it a bit ;)
DeleteHow in the world could I forget Five Days in Skye! 🤦🏻♀️ One of my absolute favorites! Great list!
ReplyDeleteHi Andi, I recently stumbled across it and didn't know it existed, so I was excited :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIt really is amazing how many books with numbers in the title there are. I've not seen too many repeats as I've traveled from blog to blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne, I saw a few of the more "popular" ones, but there really are quite a few. It keeps things interesting :)
DeleteThe only book on your list that I have read is One Thousand Gifts. You have lots for me to check out.
ReplyDeleteOh good! I hope you find some to enjoy :)
DeleteYou just about could have made a list of 10 books with "One" in the title! I like the addition of 10 non-fiction books too, certainly under-represented on TTT.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, I could have, especially since I had more books with titles that I didn't use ;) Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it!
DeleteWow! A double TTT list. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marg, and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love the cover of Maybe One Day and Two O'Clock Slump looks good too.
ReplyDeleteSame, not sure when I will read them, but one day ;)
DeleteSo many "ones" and "twos" there. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TTT earlier.
Thanks for stopping by Marianne!
DeleteI like the titles but I don't I would read these books. I guess my taste in books is different from yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. Have a lovely day.
I understand, that's one of the great things about this link-up, we are exposed to books that might be different from our "usual" stuff and it broadens our horizons. If we are lucky we find some to add to our own lists :)
DeleteYou did a great job with this prompt. Happily, I’ve read and enjoyed several of the books on your list.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Glad to hear it :)
DeleteNine Women, One Dress is intriguing. I want to know what's so special about that little black dress on the cover!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteYou had no problem this week coming up with books. Great job!
ReplyDeleteNo, it was easier than I anticipated!
DeleteI want to read Tacos for Two! Great list :)
ReplyDelete-Caroline from Bookends
Thanks Caroline, thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteAnd here you thought your wouldn't have many that qualified. :-) I wonder how many I might find on my shelf . . .
ReplyDeleteIt might surprise you :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeletePretty sure I've read that one by Courtney and I hope to read "Tacos for Two" soon. :) Thanks for visiting my list on this week, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Rissi! Have a wonderful week!
DeleteI think I like the sound of "5 Habits of a Woman Who Doesn't Quit" very much indeed. :)
ReplyDelete~ Lex (lexlingua.co)
Lex, it was a fabulous book and one that can/should probably be read more than once :) You know, because we have the tendency to forget, LOL.
DeleteWow I am seriously impressed that you managed to do a top 10 of fiction AND non-fiction! Well done! 🤩
ReplyDeleteHaha, I read a lot! Always have, hopefully always will :) Thanks for stopping by!
