Hey bookish friends! It was another long week with multiple appointments. We also had a few extra classes (work), so the week was longer in that way as well.
However, I did get some answers from the medical tests I have been having that explain the chronic fatigue and stuff I have been dealing with, but my functional medicine doctor needs several days to figure out where to begin fixing me, LOL! I am thankful for answers and now to find the right direction to go in.

Hey bookish friends! These past couple of weeks have been busy. Some of last week's stress carried into this week. I was supposed to be off all week, but ended up working a few days at the beginning of the week. We were home for Thanksgiving and got most of our Christmas decorations up. Yesterday, I made a day to trip to Indianapolis, my kids were supposed to go with me, but when my daughter bailed, my son did as well. After being in the car for 10 hours yesterday, I plan to relax, blog, and read today, possibly with a nap thrown in. I am wiped out. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Hey bookish friends! These past couple of weeks have been busy. I am currently sitting in a hotel in Downer's Grove, Illinois waiting on my husband to get ready so we can head back home. We got here on Wednesday and yesterday was the JustRead Rendezvous event. More than 50 Christian fiction authors were here, with 150+ readers. It was AMAZING and exhausting and I will be devoting an entire post to the event sometime this week. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Hey bookish friends! It was a little bit of a lighter week, we didn't have classes on Thursday because of Halloween and that is our busiest day. My husband and I decided to go on another hike this morning and it was great. I was feeling a primitive trail this morning, and with yesterday's workout and the trail, I will be feeling it all weekend 😂. But, I don't mind because it means I did something. Hey bookish friends! I remember the days when I used to get this post typed up before Saturday, LOL! It is the middle of the day on Saturday and I am just now getting an opportunity to sit down and type this up. It was a long week with some hard things. Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I am doing good. It was a busy week and I am ready for the weekend. I got my flu and Covid shots yesterday, which always make me tired and sore. I am going thrifting with my daughter and husband this morning, then I plan to read, sew, crochet, and blog for the rest of the weekend.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I am doing alright. It was a super busy week, the colonoscopy went fine, other than putting me down longer than
anticipated. The sleepy drugs didn't wear off until late Tuesday, which was super weird and unwelcome. I will get the results back from the biopsies this week. I did not get much reading done this week. I worked on random stuff this morning, and hope to relax the rest of the weekend!

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I am doing alright. It was a super busy week, but I also don't feel like I accomplished much. I am working this morning, then plan to spend the rest of the day crocheting, blogging, and reading (I hope!). Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I am sick again, some type of virus, but thankfully negative for pneumonia, flu, and Covid. So, I don't have any solid plans for the weekend, just to rest and recover. I did go through all those cookbooks last weekend, three were extremely helpful for me, so I bought them, LOL! The rest went back to the library.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? It was a pretty long week, but overall good. This morning my husband and I are going on a hike, and I am really looking forward to it. Later I will be going through a bunch of cookbooks I got from the library, trying to find low histamine and anti-inflammatory recipes. Other than that, no solid plans for the weekend, which I am thrilled about 😃

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I had a pretty good week, other than having an upper respiratory thing this week. We are mostly back to our normal work week. My son took yesterday and today off of week, so we are planning to play some board games today. I am also planning to read, work on some sewing projects, and relax. I am thankful we don't have many plans this weekend and can just take it easy.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Last weekend, we were supposed to be in NC, so I hadn't planned to do this meme because I wanted to be present with my husband's family. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we didn't end up going. So, on that Friday, my husband and I went to the final quilt stores I needed to visit to finish the All Ohio Shop Hop!! I have a post linked below if you want to see all the quilt squares I ended up with 😉. We ended up doing a staycation the rest of the weekend. We played a lot of board games together and relaxing, which was good because this week we finally got back to our "normal" routine and it kicked my tail, with extra appointments and stuff. This weekend is going to be very low-key.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Today my daughter and I are headed to another region of Ohio were we will visit one of the quilt shops, then she will hang with friends, while I visit a few more, then I will join her at a friend's baby shower. I have visited 55/84, so 21 shops this week!! (all of my time in the car was listening to audiobooks!) We will be out until sometime this evening, tomorrow is Church and then relaxing. I have 29 shops left and hope to get them in sometime this week.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Today my husband is going to join me for my Quilt Shop Hopping. I have visited 34/84, so 26 shops this week!! (all of my time in the car was listening to audiobooks!) We are headed into Amish country and plan to eat lunch there (hoping to hit all 9 shops). We will be gone around 8ish hours, then Church Sunday, and relaxing.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Today I hope to go Quilt Shop Hopping. There is something called All Ohio Shop Hop (other states have it as well) and you visit participating quilting stores to get a special 4" quilt block. So far this past week I have visited 7/84. I hope to get all 84 but I am not sure if time allows it, especially since some are 3 1/2 hours from my house. Anyway, the rest of the weekend will be relaxing.
