Top Ten Tuesday-Favorite Books of 2023
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Favorite Books of 2023. I am not going to try to narrow my favorites down to ten. With over 40 books added this year to my favorites shelf on Goodreads, I will do my best to narrow it down to a reasonable number. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

October Reading Wrap Up 2023
On the personal side, October was a hard month with my son's surgery and ongoing recovery, and having had (and still have) bronchitis for the last two weeks. I had some reading duds, but overall I think I had a decent reading month. I read 22 books and DNFed 1. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Defied My Expectations. While I have started a list with this topic I have two books on it, and just can't think beyond that. So I am going to be totally lame and do a September TBR list. Top Ten Tuesday-Most Recommended Books
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books I recommend to others the most. I don't really have a book I recommend the most because of the diversity of reading interests. So, I am going to do this just a little bit different. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten (So many) Books/Series I Recommend the Most:
Suspense:
The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens. This is one of the best series I have ever read. I have read all of her books and they have all been five stars (I have not read her novella yet). As an added bonus C.C. is very creative and has a bookish shop, check out her T-shirts/swag, I want them all 😂

Top Ten Tuesday-Indie Authors
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Indie/Self-Published Books (submitted by Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits). I am excited about this title because I have read quite a few Indie Authors 😂 The hard part will be remembering WHO they all are, LOL. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Indie/Self-Published Authors:
You all know I am going to start with Emma St. Clair! I love her books. These represent two of her series. Emma writes sweet, closed-door romantic comedies. They are hilarious. Her heroines are typically sassy and there is always some kind of animal in each book (notice I didn't say pet 😂).

Top Ten Tuesday-Books I wish Santa would bring me
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is books I hope Santa brings me this year. I know one book he is bringing me because I was with my son when he bought it 😂 and since I have not bought myself any books for Christmas I doubt I will get anymore, which is fine, I have plenty. Ten bookish and crafty gift ideas:
1. Bookish shirts
One of my favorite series is the Holly series by C.C. Warrens. I recently found out C.C. Warrens has an Etsy shop. One way to support the book lovers in your life AND authors is to shop from their favorite authors shop (assuming they have one!). Two items I wouldn't mind owning myself and would be great for book lovers are these:

Top Ten Tuesday-Buy Worthy Books
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Loved So Much I Had to Get a Copy for My Personal Library (Submitted by Alecia @ The Staircase Reader). This should be fairly simple for me as I can think of a few books I have added over the last few years for this exact reason 😀 The hard part will be narrowing it down 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

First Line Friday #61-Cross the Line
Happy Friday, my bookish friends!
Any
plans for the weekend? I am in Ohio moving my daughter back to college 😢 and will be spending all day tomorrow driving back home.
Welcome
back to
First Line Friday hosted by Carrie
at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader
for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and
leave a comment with the first line (or your link). This week I am reading Cross the Line by C.C. Warrens. It's the fourth book in the Holly series. I LOVED the first three books, they are FABULOUS, more suspense/thriller, little to no romance, and I am enjoying this one!!!
