Stacking the Shelves #146, Sunday Post #143, Sunday Salon #137

Hey bookish friends! These past couple of weeks have been busy. Some of last week's stress carried into this week. I was supposed to be off all week, but ended up working a few days at the beginning of the week. We were home for Thanksgiving and got most of our Christmas decorations up. Yesterday, I made a day to trip to Indianapolis, my kids were supposed to go with me, but when my daughter bailed, my son did as well. After being in the car for 10 hours yesterday, I plan to relax, blog, and read today, possibly with a nap thrown in. I am wiped out. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Top Ten Tuesday-Summer Reading Plan 2024

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books on My Summer 2024 To-Read ListI haven't been doing lists like this this year, just trying to mostly go with the flow. However, I do have some ARCs I have signed up for and a few books I would like to get to (I won't include the two ARCs I am currently reading). So, let's see what the plan should be 😉 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Stacking the Shelves #124, Sunday Post #121, Sunday Salon #115

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? This week was incredibly long, but I can't remember much about it 😂 It was a blur of work and running errands. Can anyone else relate? I am working this morning, and probably part of the afternoon. Beyond that, not much else going on around here.

Top Ten Tuesday-Book wishes 6/2024

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Bookish Wishes (List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!) I always feel a little weird about this one, but I didn't feel like coming up with another topic, LOL!  Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Here are some of the books on my Amazon Wishlist:

2021 New-to-me Authors

Today I am participating in the Top 10 of 2021 hosted by Kimberly Faye Reads. Today's topic is new or new-to-me authors. Well, hang on to your hats because this is going to be a long list. I made it a point to try new authors this year and I can guarantee you that I have NEVER read so many new-to-me authors in a year. I was trying to do the 2021 challenge by Cara Novack Lynch that had 75 topics, which helped to increase my new-to-me authors. Plus, I follow the Avid Readers of Christian Fiction Facebook group and they ALWAYS have great recommendations. I honestly had no idea there were SO many Christian authors that write in a wide variety of genres before joining this group. Of course, once I started this book blog I was introduced to even more authors (thank you!!).

Top Ten Tuesday-New Authors

Happy Tuesday, friends! The theme for today's top ten Tuesday is if you like this then I recommend that. This was another hard one for me to wrap my head around, I just don't have the mental capacity for it. So, I decided to do a twist on it. So far this year I have read 132 new to me authors! I can barely wrap my head around that amount, but I was working on a reading challenge and it introduced me to new authors. So, I am going to try to narrow that down to the top 10 that I loved and can't wait to read more from/catch up on their backlist. Hopefully this will introduce you to a new author as well. Top Ten Tuesday-Memorable Quotes

Happy Tuesday, friends! The theme for today's top ten Tuesday is memorable book quotes. This is a bit difficult for me because I don't keep a quote journal or anything like that. Sometimes I put memorable quotes in my reviews, and that is where I will be looking to hopefully find ten quotes. It's Monday! What are you reading? #3

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are planning to read over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and add to your TBR pile! This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.
