September Reading Wrap Up 2026

I feel redundant, but September went by in a blink. It was busy, but I feel like I was able to still read a lot. It was a better reading month than the last few months have been, as far as ratings/enjoyment goes. I finished 18 books, and I had one DNF and two 2-star reads, so only 16 will be highlighted here.  Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

TTT-Free fall

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Fall-Themed Freebie (or Spring if you live in the Southern Hemisphere). For this I am highlighting books I have enjoyed that have "fall" or "falling" in the title. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

TTT- Fall 2026 possibilities

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Fall 2026 To-Read List (or Spring if you live in the Southern Hemisphere). I actually haven't given this much thought, but there are always books that I want to read, so let's see which ones I want to read the most, right now, LOL. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

TTT-Book Series catchup

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Book Series I Want to Catch Up On (or series you’d like to start). I have finished 19 series so far this year. It is always a goal to finish some, but I never commit to a certain amount because I don't want to put too much pressure on me, especially since I am a mood reader. And, as a mood reader, it is hard for me to narrow down which series I want to finish (I currently have 48 series started that I do want to finish (some series have been DNFed)). Of course, part of the problem is that some of the books in the series have yet to be written, making it hard to complete them. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

My Review:

With all three books being novellas, there is not much you can say without spoilers.

TTT-Favorite authors & books

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: My Favorite Books by My Favorite Authors (Pick your ten favorite authors and your favorite book written by each one of them.) (submitted by Cathy @WhatCathyReadNext) I am not sure why Cathy did this to us, doesn't she know it's going to be SOOOOO hard to narrow down? However, I love the topic because we will be highlighting our favorites!! I think we can all agree that our favorite authors change as our reading tastes change, so I am going to go with my top ten favorite authors right now, which is still going to be difficult to narrow down! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Anticipated Books coming soon!

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2026. We'll see if I can narrow this down to 10 since I know quite a few are releasing this year that I want to read...I may have to narrow down the time frame, LOL! (nope, it was easier than I thought!) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Spell the Month in books August 2025

I am happy to be participating in this monthly meme again! The last time I did it was December 2023!! When i saw that this month's theme is favorite authors, I knew I had to do a post. I love showcasing my favorites!

It is hosted by Jana @ Reviews From the Stacks. Here is how she describes the meme: Spell the Month in Books is a linkup hosted on Reviews From the Stacks on the first Saturday of each month.

May Reading Wrap Up 2025

May was busy and went by so fast, I think things will slow down for June. I read 18 books and NO DNFs, yay! Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review. Flabbergasted by Ray Blackston continues to be a family favorite, we just listened to it for the third time.

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? It was another long week, with lots of extra appointments. The best thing about this week is that my husband and I went to the Cain concert on Wednesday night and we had a blast. I hope to get a post up about it soonish. We looked at a house yesterday, and the only good thing about it is that it was near a library we had not been into yet, so I decided to check it out 😂. Happy Mother's Day to those of you who are moms. My kiddos are working/gone today, so it will just be me and my husband hanging out, sorting through things today.

April Reading Wrap Up 2025

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? My last two weeks were busy and long. I went to TN on Saturday, drove my sister to the hospital on Monday for her
surgeries, and was there ALL day. I read a little bit, but mostly worked on a crochet blanket. Tuesday we did a little shopping, and Wednesday I came home, went house hunting, Thursday was work, Friday was work and appointments and I am completely wiped out, but I have NO plans, other than church for the weekend, so I am going to take things as they come, and mostly relax! Happy Easter, friends.

Stacking the Shelves #163, Sunday Post #160, Sunday Salon #154

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was long. I started Monday at the ER (chest pains), I am fine (thankfully!), came out with some referrals I needed anyway, and read an entire book. It was a hard work week, and other stressors from extended family. This morning I went to a craft fair and bought several designs of fabric for a quilt I am hoping to start soon.

Top Ten Tuesday-Spring Possibilities round 2

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books I DNFed for whatever reason. I feel like we had this topic recently, but it's not one that I care to do, so I am going to do round two of my spring TBR. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Books on my spring TBR round 2: (a mix of library books and books I own)

Top Ten Tuesday: Looking back at spring and summer

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Was Assigned to Read in School (These can be books you loved or hated. Or just tolerated. Bonus points if you give us a tiny review of your thoughts!) I have been out of school for a LONG time, including graduate school, so I am going to go a different direction today. I will revisit my spring and summer TBRs and see how I did. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
