Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Last Sunday, I did as little as I could. Which meant I mainly sat on my couch and caught up on blogging, I was so tired!  It was a busy/hard week. I am having another health issue, which will hopefully resolve soon. Monday was paddle boarding again, and it was so chilly, and I fell in the water, so I was cold the last hour of the lesson. Thursday night was book club. We discussed Untangle Your Emotions by Jennie Allen. We had a good time discussing the book, chatting, and laughing. This weekend is going to be cleaning, blogging, relaxing. No definite plans and hopefully none pop up, we need some downtime.

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? It was a busy, weird week. I can't remember most of what happened, LOL, but on Wednesday my daughter passed her kidney stone, praise the Lord! Then she immediately got in the car and drove to Columbus for a job interview. Talk about perfect timing! I also had a job interview on Wednesday and got the job. I start work on Monday. The bad news I got last Friday is that my mom's cancer is now in both lungs, and we were expecting to get a short this is it notice, like 6 months, but her doctors said that without treatment she should live several years, for this we are thankful. We are hoping to go back out to the beach lake this weekend, depending on the weather. We need some serious vitamin D and downtime.

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? I am STILL sick, my guess is we had C*vid, which is my first time. I am slowly improving, but still coughing and congested. We have another open house on Sunday, hopefully something will come from it. Other than that, not much on the radar this weekend.

As someone who rarely rereads, I am going to skip this topic. I thought about doing books with "March" in the title, I have exactly zero on my Goodreads account. I also thought about books with "spring" in the title, yeah, it wasn't working either. Instead, I am going to do ten books with "book" in the title. Cover REVEAL!!!! The Foxhole Victory Tour

It's rare for me to participate in cover reveals. However, I have LOVED all of Amy Lynn Green's books, so I decided to participate in the cover reveal for The Foxhole Victory Tour, releasing January 2024. This WWII novel follows the members of a variety show as they travel to North Africa to perform for the Allied troops with the USO.

I don't really have a book I recommend the most because of the diversity of reading interests. So, I am going to do this just a little bit different. Suspense:

The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens. This is one of the best series I have ever read. I have read all of her books and they have all been five stars (I have not read her novella yet). As an added bonus C.C. is very creative and has a bookish shop, check out her T-shirts/swag, I want them all 😂

6 Degrees of Separation -Feb. 2023 Trust

#6degrees of Separation is hosted by Kate at booksaremyfavouriteandbest on the first Saturday of each month. The gist is that everyone starts with the same book, then finds another book that relates to it somehow, then one that relates to the second, until you’ve got a chain of six additional books. It’s a twist on the theory that every person on earth can somehow be connected to any other person in six or fewer steps, and provides an opportunity to talk about random books we love (or don’t).

Can't Wait Wednesday-The Blackout Book Club

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing The Blackout Book Club by Amy Lynn Green. If I am being honest I am tired of books set in World War II, I have overdosed! But, I LOVE Amy's writing and I truly cannot wait to read this one because I know it will be fantastic!!!
