Top Ten Tuesday-Debut novels edition

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Debut Novels I Enjoyed (A debut novel is an author’s first published book. You could also choose to share genre or age group debuts if you’d prefer, such as an adult fiction author’s first YA book or a mystery writer’s first romance.) (submitted by Angela @ Reading Frenzy) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Bookish Books

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is Books I’m Worried I Might Not Love as Much the Second Time Around. As someone who rarely rereads, I am going to skip this topic. I thought about doing books with "March" in the title, I have exactly zero on my Goodreads account. I also thought about books with "spring" in the title, yeah, it wasn't working either. Instead, I am going to do ten books with "book" in the title. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Cover REVEAL!!!! The Foxhole Victory Tour

It's rare for me to participate in cover reveals. However, I have LOVED all of Amy Lynn Green's books, so I decided to participate in the cover reveal for The Foxhole Victory Tour, releasing January 2024. This WWII novel follows the members of a variety show as they travel to North Africa to perform for the Allied troops with the USO.

Top Ten Tuesday-Most Recommended Books

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books I recommend to others the most. I don't really have a book I recommend the most because of the diversity of reading interests. So, I am going to do this just a little bit different. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Ten (So many) Books/Series I Recommend the Most:

Suspense:

The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens. This is one of the best series I have ever read. I have read all of her books and they have all been five stars (I have not read her novella yet). As an added bonus C.C. is very creative and has a bookish shop, check out her T-shirts/swag, I want them all 😂

6 Degrees of Separation -Feb. 2023 Trust

#6degrees of Separation is hosted by Kate at booksaremyfavouriteandbest on the first Saturday of each month. The gist is that everyone starts with the same book, then finds another book that relates to it somehow, then one that relates to the second, until you’ve got a chain of six additional books. It’s a twist on the theory that every person on earth can somehow be connected to any other person in six or fewer steps, and provides an opportunity to talk about random books we love (or don’t).

Can't Wait Wednesday-The Blackout Book Club

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing The Blackout Book Club by Amy Lynn Green. If I am being honest I am tired of books set in World War II, I have overdosed! But, I LOVE Amy's writing and I truly cannot wait to read this one because I know it will be fantastic!!!

It's Monday! What are you reading #4

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are planning to read over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and add to your TBR pile! This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.

What I read last week:

The Lines Between Us

 Title: The Lines Between Us

Author: Amy Lynn Green

Publisher: Bethany House

Genre: Historical Fiction, World War II, Christian Fiction

My Review:

The Lines Between Us is the second novel by Amy Lynn Green but reads as though she has been writing forever. You are immediately drawn into the story by the first few lines.

Top Ten Tuesday-Upcoming Releases 2021

Welcome back to another Top Ten Tuesday!!! Today's topic is what books that are releasing between now and the end of the year that you are really excited about? I am going to do my best to narrow this down to just 10, LOL, but it will not be easy!

In no particular order...

Top Ten Books that I loved that made me want more

I am eventually going to post regularly on this blog! I would love a post a day, but sometimes there are none, and other days there are two, but hey, I guess I get points for trying, right? Today I decided to join a link-up because it sounded fun and got me thinking! I love when I come across things like this 😀

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is Books I Loved that Made Me Want More Books Like Them. This topic especially appealed to me because I am constantly adding to my never-ending to-be-read pile...either in cyberspace on my Goodreads shelf, or on my Kindle (over 1,000 unlogged books, send help!!) or here, physically on one of my many bookshelves, but then it still gets added to Goodreads...

Favorite Book Quotes

Do you have a favorite book quote? I know most people have favorite author's or favorite genres, but for those of us who LOVE all things books...we also have favorite quotes. So, do you have a favorite book quote? I do. As a matter of fact, the one that I love the most I have a sticker of it...and it is on my computer!! This is the true story of all avid readers 😀

Things We Didn't Say

Things We Didn't Say

 Title: Things We Didn't Say

Author: Amy Lynn Green

Publisher: Bethany House Publishers

Genre: Historical Fiction

My Review:

I read every detail of this book, including the author's note at the end. I learned that this is the author's debut novel, which I never would have imagined!! This story is incredibly well-written in an epistolary manner (which might be a turn off to some, but I really enjoyed).
