June was a blur. It was busy and I can't quite remember most of what I did, LOL.  I know I did some reading, so let's see how the month went. I finished 18 books, and I had one DNF. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. I have missed the last several weeks and I am glad to be back today!! Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Summer 2026 To-Read List. This one will be easy as there are SO many books that I want to read. The hard part will be narrowing it down to 10. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books I Can't Believe I Never Read. I am not one to linger very long on books that I never read, or worry about what I might be missing out on. I have plenty of books that I want to read. Therefore, I am going to go a different route today. I am going to continue with the alphabet and I am up to "E." Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I had a decent week. We had book club Thursday night and that was fun. I am not sure, as I type this, what we are doing this weekend. My daughter might come for a visit, she might not. I don't know if the weather is supposed to be nice or not, but I am hoping to get some walks in. I am excited that it is officially spring, I am just hoping the weather gets the memo, LOL! Bring on the sunshine and warm weather! Also, I am struggling and in a weird head space. My mom is not doing well, and I just found out she is officially in hospice. I am grieving (anticipatory grief), and it is hard for me to focus and keep up with things. If you notice slack over the next few weeks (or past few weeks), this is why.

Well, I think the last time this topic came up, I skipped it, so let's see what I can come up with today. Rendezvous Update Part 1

Okay, you never realize how socially awkward you are until you get in a room with 200+ people! I didn't know where to sit, I just knew I wanted to sit near a door so I could make a quick exit if I needed to. I didn't know what to say to anyone I talked to and I could literally feel me closing in on myself. As the day went on I relaxed a bit more, but something about being around that many people brings out ALL my insecurities! I also don't think I used to be as socially awkward as I am now before C-vid hit. If I was, it was not as noticeable, LOL! If you are a reader I hope you get an opportunity to go to a reader's event at some point in your life. There is nothing like being with like-minded readers. It was truly an amazing experience.

I love reading Amanda Cox's books. Why? Because they are deep, thought-provoking, and profound. They change you. He Should Have Told the Bees is difficult to review because I have no words.
