Hey bookish friends! It was a little bit of a lighter week, we didn't have classes on Thursday because of Halloween and that is our busiest day. My husband and I decided to go on another hike this morning and it was great. I was feeling a primitive trail this morning, and with yesterday's workout and the trail, I will be feeling it all weekend 😂. But, I don't mind because it means I did something. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Last weekend, Saturday did not go according to my plans, so I don't think I will make any for this weekend 😂 (and even that changed since I first typed it, I will be working at least part of the morning). Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Did you miss me? Or did you realize I was even gone 😂😂? These past few weeks have been insane. I only thought things would slow down. I was going to post last weekend and didn't get time, then me and my husband went to Michigan to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Analyzing my 2023 reading goals and Reading Challenges

At the beginning of the year I listed my 2023 Bookish goals. I am very much a type A personality. When I set a goal I have every intention of getting it, and I feel this internal pressure to finish what I started. As the year progressed, I was really feeling pressure to hit my book challenges, but had lost sight of my reading goals. So, let's see how I did!

October Reading Wrap Up 2023

On the personal side, October was a hard month with my son's surgery and ongoing recovery, and having had (and still have) bronchitis for the last two weeks. My Review:

Two Reasons to Run is the second book in the Pelican Harbor series. It is best to read the series in order. Two Reasons to Run picks up a few weeks after One Little Lie ends. I accidentally read the third book before this one, and it gives spoilers, but it had been long enough that I did not remember everything.

Hey bookish friends! How are you all doing? Any plans for the weekend? After getting home last weekend, my husband told me my son wasn't feeling that great. He ended up in the doctor's office Tuesday, a specialist on Wednesday, and surgery on Thursday. He is doing better, and on the road to recovery! Today, my daughter was heading back to college when she put her window down at a drive-thru and it refused to go back up 🤦, so she now has my car and hers will go in the shop on Monday. It has been a wild, busy, crazy week. The plan this weekend is to sew some projects, read, blog, and relax. Next week is another busy week, so really hoping to have a lot of downtime this weekend.

My Review:

 Wow! What a fantastic conclusion to the Annie Pederson trilogy! Break of Day ties up all the loose ends from the previous two books. I will say it again, these books should be read in order.

Dark of Night is the second book in the Annie Pederson series by Colleen Coble. They need to be read in order as the series follows Annie. Otherwise, you will get major spoilers.
