Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I am happy with another short book stack this week. I finished four books this week and DNF'd one. I also spent time this week changing out the books on my TBR cart (which are the ones I plan to read sooner rather than later), adding my physical Christmas and one Thanksgiving book to it, hoping to keep them on my radar, LOL! Here are a few pictures from my hike this morning:
What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: Write for You by Megan Byrd
Book Review: What Your Soul Needs for Stressful Times by Holley Gerth
Top Ten Tuesday-Let's Go Hiking!
Book Review: Dragonfly Ashes by C.C. Warrens
Book Review: If it's Perfect by Summer Dowell
Book Review: A Guardian Till Christmas + a giveaway by Danielle Thorne
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Beautiful hiking shots! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark! We enjoyed it.
DeleteOh Cindy, isn't this the most perfect weather for a hike? I am loving being outside in this warmish autumn season.
ReplyDeleteLinda, yes, me too! My soul needs it.
DeleteThat looks like a beautiful hike.
ReplyDeleteJoy, we enjoyed it.
DeleteThat looks like a lovely hike! And I love that you have a "TBR cart". I have a cart that's holding... probably more of my collection than it should, ahaha. I'd love to turn it into a TBR cart someday and make it a bit more immediate and convenient. One day, when I have more bookshelves...
ReplyDeleteNicky we have plenty of bookshelves and still continue to run out of space, LOL! I love my TBR cart :0
DeleteThe thing I'm looking forward to is this evening's dinner. I think my daughter and her significant other are planning to announce an upcoming wedding. Taking us out for a meal.
ReplyDeleteClaudia, sounds exciting! Enjoy.
DeleteI love the photos! My husband and I used to ride the bike trails around our house (one was 26 miles one way). I miss it a lot.
ReplyDeleteVicki, that is amazing!! I have a bike and need to ride it more!
DeleteMy son bought me a new one and I haven't ridden it yet. Hopefully I will soon.
DeleteI understand that!
DeleteThat trail looks lovely, the view and the wide paths.
ReplyDeleteHarvee, we enjoyed it.
DeleteI move the books I want to read next into a stack near the bed. Thanks for a reminder that I need to do that now.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the hikes you have been taking. My husband and I walked every day during the pandemic. I have been swimming this summer, but it's getting cold now. I need to walk again!
Deb, we walked every day during the pandemic as well. We HAD to get the kids out of the house, and ourselves as well. I need to get back to my daily walks as well, I have just lacked motivation.
DeleteLove your hiking photos! All the leaves!
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin.
DeleteBeautiful hiking trails!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimberly!
DeleteI am just relaxing and blogging this weekend. I'm also baking bread and paella. Your hike pics are beautiful again this week. I really should do Staking the Shelves and add it in with my Sunday post. Maybe next week. I just don't get as may books as a lot of ya'll.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I post even when I don't get books, LOL! But, i love seeing what others are reading.
DeleteNothing I love more than hiking! That looks like a beautiful and fun trail!
ReplyDeleteJinjer, it's the perfect time for it, and we've been blessed with nice (albeit a little cold) weather.
DeleteLooks like a lovely hike! I need to get out more in the fall before the rain and mud take over the trails!

DeleteLooks like you had a fun week. I took in the local theater with my sister, which is always a blast. Great looking books this week. Hope you have a nice week.

Cheryl, the theater sounds fun! Have a great week!
DeleteWhat beautiful photos from your hike!
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia!
DeleteThose are gorgeous fall pictures you got on your hike!! I haven't been running outside anymore because it's getting colder and I'm afraid of the big bad weather, but those kinds of view makes it worth it.
ReplyDeleteHaze, LOL! That's funny. I always *think* I will walk outside in the winter, the reality is quite different!
