Stacking the Shelves #143, Sunday Post #140, Sunday Salon #134

Hey bookish friends! It was a little bit of a lighter week, we didn't have classes on Thursday because of Halloween and that is our busiest day. My husband and I decided to go on another hike this morning and it was great. I was feeling a primitive trail this morning, and with yesterday's workout and the trail, I will be feeling it all weekend 😂. But, I don't mind because it means I did something. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I am happy with another short book stack this week. I finished four books this week and DNF'd one. I also spent time this week changing out the books on my TBR cart (which are the ones I plan to read sooner rather than later), adding my physical Christmas and one Thanksgiving book to it, hoping to keep them on my radar, LOL! Here are a few pictures from my hike this morning:

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Write for You by Megan Byrd

Book Review: What Your Soul Needs for Stressful Times by Holley Gerth

Top Ten Tuesday-Let's Go Hiking!

Book Review: Dragonfly Ashes by C.C. Warrens

Book Review: If it's Perfect by Summer Dowell

Book Review: A Guardian Till Christmas + a giveaway by Danielle Thorne

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  1. Oh Cindy, isn't this the most perfect weather for a hike? I am loving being outside in this warmish autumn season.

  2. That looks like a lovely hike! And I love that you have a "TBR cart". I have a cart that's holding... probably more of my collection than it should, ahaha. I'd love to turn it into a TBR cart someday and make it a bit more immediate and convenient. One day, when I have more bookshelves...

  4. I love the photos! My husband and I used to ride the bike trails around our house (one was 26 miles one way). I miss it a lot.

  6. I move the books I want to read next into a stack near the bed. Thanks for a reminder that I need to do that now.

I love seeing the hikes you have been taking. My husband and I walked every day during the pandemic. I have been swimming this summer, but it's getting cold now. I need to walk again!

    1. Deb, we walked every day during the pandemic as well. We HAD to get the kids out of the house, and ourselves as well. I need to get back to my daily walks as well, I have just lacked motivation.

  8. I am just relaxing and blogging this weekend. I'm also baking bread and paella. Your hike pics are beautiful again this week. I really should do Staking the Shelves and add it in with my Sunday post. Maybe next week. I just don't get as may books as a lot of ya'll.

  13. Those are gorgeous fall pictures you got on your hike!! I haven't been running outside anymore because it's getting colder and I'm afraid of the big bad weather, but those kinds of view makes it worth it.
