This is my second time reading Cross Fire, the second novel in the Holly series by C.C. Warrens. If you have been around here any length of time, you know that I consider this series one of my all-time favorites. This series MUST be read in order. Waiting for Gilbert is the first book I have read by Tasha Hackett, but it will not be the last. I was in the middle of reading this book when I knew I would want to reread it. I am not a huge re-reader, but I want a physical copy for my keeper shelf!

I thought I had this book pegged by the little bit of the description I had read. I thought it was going to be insta-love and a bit obnoxious. I had totally missed that it was a billionaire romance, or I might have skipped it. However, I am so glad I missed that detail because I loved this story!!
