My Review:
{Insta} Family
The Insta series is one that is best read in order. It should also be read before The Bailey Brother's series, as that is a spin-off series to this one. However, ALL books in both series should be read 😁.

My Review:
I have a confession to make. This book has been on my "want to read" list for years. After checking it out of the library multiple times, including on Hoopla, and never reading it, I decided I didn't want to read it. Then, I decided to give it one more try. You all, I almost missed a fabulous book because of some weird mood I had previously been in!!

My Review:
I have had Atomic Habits on my TBR for several years, and this is another book that I wish I had read earlier. I have been reading it for a few weeks, and it is so good. I have gleaned so many nuggets of wisdom from it.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: My Favorite Books I Read in 2025. I added 66 books to my favorites shelf on Goodreads, so this is going to be kind of hard to narrow down. I am not going to count the books that were rereads, which makes the number a little lower. Also, a huge thanks to Erin at Cracker Crumb Life for sending me Strawberry Fields for Never by Kate Watson. I can't wait to read it!! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday-My top favorite books from 2025
Nonfiction:

Series: Holidays with Hart #3
Author: Courtney Walsh
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Contemporary Fiction, Christmas, Sports Romance,
Source: Own
My Review:
My Merry Mistake is the third book in the Holidays with Hart series, but can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. However, I highly recommend reading them all to gain a better understanding of the Hart family dynamics.

Series: Holidays in Hadley Springs #2
Author: Tasha Hackett
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Christian Fiction, Contemporary Romance,

My Review:
Planning for Nickie is the second in the Holidays in Hadley Springs series by Tasha Hackett. While it could be read as a stand-alone novel, I HIGHLY recommend reading Waiting for Gilbert first.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books Set in Snowy Places (If snow isn’t your thing, pick another kind of place and share books set there!) I don't have the brain capacity to figure out where books are set and I thought about just doing books with snow on the cover, but instead I think I will go with my favorite Christmas books so far this year...and if they have snow on the cover=bonus! I have read/listened to 17 books and currently am reading one and listening to one, so I have a total of 19 to choose from. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday- Favorite Christmas books of 2025 (so far!!)

My Review:
When Let in the Light: 50 Devotions to Confidently Know God is Good and Guiding Your Steps came to my email as an opportunity to review it, I jumped on it. I love Proverbs 31 Ministries, and I knew if they put the book out, it would be good. Plus, in a world that often feels dark, who doesn't want more light?

My Review:
I have finished this book for the second time and I loved it just as much as the first time I read it last year!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
Original review below:
Waiting for Gilbert is the first book I have read by Tasha Hackett, but it will not be the last. I was in the middle of reading this book when I knew I would want to reread it. I am not a huge re-reader, but I want a physical copy for my keeper shelf!

Series: Sweet as Sugar Maple
Author: Kate Watson
Narrators: Stephanie Rose and Gregory Salinas
Publisher: Audible Audio
Genre: Christmas, Contemporary Romance, RomCom
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
I thought I had this book pegged by the little bit of the description I had read. I thought it was going to be insta-love and a bit obnoxious. I had totally missed that it was a billionaire romance, or I might have skipped it. However, I am so glad I missed that detail because I loved this story!!

Meddling with Mistletoe is a fun Christmas read with all the holiday vibes.

Series: Christmas Escape #3
Author: Cindy Steel
Narrator: Justis Bolding
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Christmas, RomCom, Contemporary Romance
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
Faking Christmas is technically a part of the Christmas Escape series, but each book stands alone. Overall, I enjoyed Justis Bolding's narration. I didn't like her voice for Chloe, Olive's sister, I felt like it was too manly.

The Gratitude Guarantee is the first book I have read by Jordan Millsaps, but it will not be my last!!

When I first started reading A Place of Quiet Rest, I thought I wouldn't learn anything new. As you can see from the tabs in the picture (and that is not everything I highlighted), I was wrong.
