My Review:
A Very Merry Matchup has everything you could possibly want in a Christmas RomCom. I loved everything about this story.

May was busy and went by so fast, I think things will slow down for June. I read 18 books and NO DNFs, yay! Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review. Flabbergasted by Ray Blackston continues to be a family favorite, we just listened to it for the third time.

My Review:
First Love, Second Draft takes a hot minute to get into with the changing perspectives of the story. You have the story of the main characters, Noah and Gracie, and you also get the perspective of Gracie's nephew Matt.

So, part two of the JustRead Rendezvous 2024 reader event. You can read part one here. After lunch was another reader panel. Kimberley Woodhouse was the moderator of this one. Each author had to pick one of their characters to be and only answer as that character. It was hilarious. Several authors on the panel were suspense writers, and a couple were fantasy. Sara Ella was one of the authors and I loved her answers. She was in character as Alice in Wonderland from her book The Wonderland Trials. While I had read several authors books who were on the different panels throughout the day, hearing all the authors talk and interact made me want to read their books, even though several are genres I don't read.

Saturday I went hiking with my husband and yesterday (Monday) I went hiking with my son. I thought it would be fun to do a post on books that have hiking in them. The problem is my memory! I know I read two books recently that had hiking in it and I only remember one of them. I also know there was one book in one of my favorite series, but of course I can't remember which book, LOL! Becca Kinzer's sophomore novel, Love in Tandem, is every bit as good as her first novel, Dear Henry, Love Edith. Yet, they could not be more different.
