As someone who doesn't remember a lot of the details of the books I read, or in some cases any of the details, the books I will share today are ones that made a lasting impression. I will also only be sharing one book per author, although I could easily find one author to build the entire post around. I loved this story; it is my favorite of the series.

September Reading Wrap Up 2026

I feel redundant, but September went by in a blink. It was busy, but I feel like I was able to still read a lot. It was a better reading month than the last few months have been, as far as ratings/enjoyment goes. My Review:

This second-chance romance is delightful and hilarious. I really enjoyed my time with Sonny and Parker, and the audio narration enhanced my enjoyment.

While this book looks like a light and fluffy escapism read, it is anything but. The story deals with abandonment issues, infertility, pregnancy complications, loss, anxiety, and more.

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Indie Freebie (submitted by @dark.shelf.of.wonders and Books Are The New Black). I do read a lot of Indie authors, so hopefully this will be a pretty easy topic this week. The hard part will be narrowing it down. My time was short this week, so no books, but if you click on the authors name, it will take you to their Goodreads page. All authors write clean books (minimal to no language or spice). July Reading Wrap Up 2026

July was a weird month. I had quite a few health things going on, but seemed to have a bit more free time than I have had lately. I finished 22 books, and I had one DNF. Unfortunately, overall, I feel like the last half of the month was mediocre reading, with a few exceptions. I had three 2-star reads, which is super rare for me (I don't list two stars or DNFs here). My Review:

Once I got used to the male narrators voice, I really enjoyed this book. It's not that his narration was bad, just not what I was expecting. 

Stacking the Shelves #215 Sunday Post #212 Sunday Salon #206

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I am doing okay. I had vertigo again last weekend, and headaches all week. This landed me back in PT on Tuesday, only to find I had another ear crystal, this time on the left side, causing the vertigo. It made for a longer week, dealing with that, plus the headaches and nausea that go with it, but I survived and it is the weekend! And, I am feeling better, praise God! We don't really have any plans, other than church. If the weather cooperates we will be out walking/hiking, but beyond that, it's mostly relaxing.

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Bookish Discoveries I Made in 2025 (New-to-you authors you discovered, new genres you learned you like, new bookish resources you found, friends you made, local bookshops you found, a book club you joined, etc.) I am going to go with new-to-me authors I read in 2025. Top Ten Tuesday-Let it snow!

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books Set in Snowy Places (If snow isn’t your thing, pick another kind of place and share books set there!) I don't have the brain capacity to figure out where books are set and I thought about just doing books with snow on the cover, but instead I think I will go with my favorite Christmas books so far this year...and if they have snow on the cover=bonus!
