Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape (bonus points if you tell us why!). I am of the mindset that ALL books (at least fiction) provide an escape, so I am tweaking the topic just a little bit to books I recently loved escaping into. In order to make the list, the books must have received 5-stars from me. August 2024 Reading Wrap-Up

August was a lighter month for me (work wise), but I still feel like it passed in a blur. I read 24 books, eight of which were audio books. I have been traveling around Ohio for the All Ohio Shop Hop, which is why I have so many books and audio books this month. It was unintentionally a RomCom month too, LOL! I love the cover of Beyond Ivy Walls, but the story within is just as beautiful as the cover. Rachel Fordham has outdone herself with this one, I think it is my new favorite of hers.

August Reading Wrap-Up

August found me with more reading time...although the month still flew past.

I finished 21 books again in August and DNFed 4. Audio books really helped my numbers this month, as did a few short books. I am back to my average 😊. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.

Summer Reading Challenges Wrap-up

Normally I am late with these posts, but this time I am early, LOL. But, to be real, I know I am not going to read anymore big books before September 4th, and I won't get to anymore on my summer TBR. When I planned for these challenges I had NO idea I would lose my job and then spend 2ish months setting up my a small business. This REALLY cut down on my reading time.
