Top Ten Tuesday- Favorites from 2024

Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Best Books I Read in 2024. The hardest part about today's topic is going to be narrowing it down. I had 55 books that I marked as a favorite in 2024 (and that's assuming I didn't miss any)! Let's be honest, I am not going to try to get it to 10, but will *try* to keep it around 20. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

August 2024 Reading Wrap-Up

August was a lighter month for me (work wise), but I still feel like it passed in a blur. I read 24 books, eight of which were audio books. I have been traveling around Ohio for the All Ohio Shop Hop, which is why I have so many books and audio books this month. It was unintentionally a RomCom month too, LOL! Once I started a book and it was good, I found myself bingeing the whole series! Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Thirsty

Genre: Christian Nonfiction, Self-help, devotional, Christian Living

My Review:

I bought Thirsty: 12 Weeks of Drinking Deeply from God's Word on a whim and I am so glad I did. I was unfamiliar with Hannah C. Hall's writing, as she had previously only written children's books.

Stacking the Shelves #102, Sunday Post #99, Sunday Salon #93

Hey bookish friends! Happy New Year's Eve!!! Did you have a good Christmas week? We did. Me and my kiddos traveled to TN on Wednesday and got back Saturday evening. It was a quick trip, but always wonderful to see my sister and her family. Word is my car will be finished by the end of this week!!! I will update next Saturday. Today we did Church online, played a few games, and plan to do more of the same, with lots of relaxing this afternoon. Tomorrow my son goes back to work, but hubby is off. We plan to take down the Christmas tree and put the house back in order. We never stay up until midnight to celebrate, we've gotten old, LOL, and need our sleep. How do you celebrate New Year's Eve?
