My Review:

Battling the Bluestocking is the third book in the Donovan series. While it COULD be read as a standalone novel, I highly recommend reading The Art of Victory and A Confirmed Rake first.

August Reading Wrap Up 2026

August was a blur. It was busy and I can't quite remember most of what I did, LOL. I did a lot of walking, so I finished more audiobooks than I normally would. I feel like I got a lot of reading in this month. So, lets see what I actually did. I finished 24 books, and I had one DNF and one 2-star read. Overall, I was disappointed in quite a few books that I read, which doesn't normally happen. This is my favorite of the series! It can easily be read as a stand-alone novel.

July Reading Wrap Up 2026

July was a weird month. I had quite a few health things going on, but seemed to have a bit more free time than I have had lately. I finished 22 books, and I had one DNF. Unfortunately, overall, I feel like the last half of the month was mediocre reading, with a few exceptions. I had three 2-star reads, which is super rare for me (I don't list two stars or DNFs here). Selling Out is the third book in the Sheppards in Love series. The series focuses on the Sheppard siblings, and I recommend reading the books in order.

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I am doing okay. It was a long week with multiple appointments. I came out of my first appointment (Monday morning, before work), feeling fat and stupid. Wednesday was an eye appointment, hoping to get answers for some of my vision problems I have been having (light sensitivity and stuff), but no answers. However, everything looked great, and I am thankful for that.

December Reading Wrap Up 2025

November and December had me moving (literally), so I did not do a November reading wrap up. However, I did read 25 books (didn't know it was that many until just now, (4 were children's books) DNF'd 2. It looks like I had a record number of 5 star reads as well: 11!! Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was long. More work and appointments this week. I ended up going to bed early every night, I am just completely wiped out. I am SO thankful it is the weekend!! I am not sure what we are doing, and that is okay. I will take it as it comes. I am hoping that time change doesn't mess us up too badly, LOL!

I have been traveling around Ohio for the All Ohio Shop Hop, which is why I have so many books and audio books this month. It was unintentionally a RomCom month too, LOL!
