July was a weird month. I had quite a few health things going on, but seemed to have a bit more free time than I have had lately. I finished 22 books, and I had one DNF. Unfortunately, overall, I feel like the last half of the month was mediocre reading, with a few exceptions. I had three 2-star reads, which is super rare for me (I don't list two stars or DNFs here). The Trauma Response

Series: Give a Bookish Girl a Biker #2
Author: M. J. Padgett
Source: own
My Review:
The Trauma Response is the second book in the Give a Bookish Girl a Biker series. The series has multiple authors, so the books are loosely connected and easy to read as stand-alone novels. But, if you are going to read them all, I recommend reading them in order.

TTT-summer of possibilities 2026
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. I have missed the last several weeks and I am glad to be back today!! Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books
on My Summer 2026 To-Read List. This one will be easy as there are SO many books that I want to read. The hard part will be narrowing it down to 10. Since I am still trying to focus on what I own, most some of these will be books I already have. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Lucky Left Wing

Series: Dating a Denver Dragon #6
Author: M. J. Padgett
Source: Kindle Unlimited
My Review:
Lucky Left Wing is the sixth and final book in the multiauthor series, Dating a Denver Dragon. It can be read as a standalone novel. However, it is fun to see all the Denver Dragon characters, especially in the epilogue, ten years later.

While February was another hard month, I did get a lot of reading in. I read 21 books and DNF'd 2. Two of the books I finished were two stars so you will not see them here. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.
