January moved at a nice pace. I was busy but I still felt like I had a lot of time to devote to reading. I read 17 books in January and DNFed 3. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Series: Sewing in SoCal #2
Author: Sarah Monzon
Publisher: Radiant Publishers
Genre: Romantic Comedy, Contemporary Romance, Christian Fiction,
Source: Own
My Review:
Jocelyn is the second book in the Sewing in SoCal series by Sarah Monzon. While each book can be read as a stand-alone novel, I recommend reading them in order as the friends are in each book and you will get minor spoilers to the earlier books.

Original Review (2020) Original cover is the yellow one:
While the title suggests this book is somewhat about sewing, it isn't at all.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2025. I had read it wrong and thought it said first quarter, so it was going to be a short list. But, I might actually get ten by doing the first half of the year. I am sure there are a ton of books coming out I am going to want to read, I just don't know about them yet 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
My most anticipated releases for the first half of the year:

First Love, Second Draft by Becca Kinzer, love her books! |
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books on My Winter 2024-2025 to-Read List. How are we already talking about 2025??? I had not started thinking much about it what I would be reading, I am happily absorbed in all the Christmas reading, but now I am, LOL! Let's see what we can come up with. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books to Read During a Storm (these can be cozy/comfy reads, books with storms in them, atmospheric reads for dark and stormy nights, light reads to combat the heavy weather, etc.) (Submitted by Astilbe.) While it is a great topic, I am going to tweak it for books to read in a snow storm. These books might have a snow storm in them, or they might just have snowy covers, we'll see what I come up with.Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

It does have a blizzard in it, my full review will be up on Thursday, but I LOVED Waiting for Gilbert by Tasha Hackett, so much witty banter, overall a fun story. |
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic Throwback Freebie (Pick a TTT topic that has been previously done. Maybe you missed it, weren’t blogging then, or you’d like to update an old list you made.) I missed last week but not feeling that topic. I am going to go with topic #484-Books with single-word titles. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Books I own to read with a single-word title:
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Was Super Excited to Get My Hands on but Still Haven’t Read. So, I see we are having confessional today, LOL! I am not sure I really want to confess, but I will because I know I am not alone!! The hardest part is going to be narrowing it down to ten. I will also say, some were gifted, some were won, and some I did actually buy. Ten(ish) Shiny books still sitting unread on my book shelves:
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is Movies/TV Shows That Would Have Made Amazing Books (Submitted by Sabrina @ Notes From a Paper Plane Nomad). Seriously at a loss, thought about it for 2 days, and I have nothing. We don't watch a lot of TV or movies. So, I am going to take a page out of Pam's book (Read!Create!Bake!) and do titles that start with a letter, I was going to go with C because I can see 3 books on my TBR cart at a quick glance that start with C, but better go with with A since it's my first time, LOL! Ten books on my PHYSICAL shelves that I am might (should) going to read soonish that start with "A":
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is Books I’m Worried I Might Not Love as Much the Second Time Around. As someone who rarely rereads, I am going to skip this topic. I thought about doing books with "March" in the title, I have exactly zero on my Goodreads account. I also thought about books with "spring" in the title, yeah, it wasn't working either. Instead, I am going to do ten books with "book" in the title. Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well.
Today's
Top Ten Tuesday is books I meant to read in 2023 and didn't get to. This is definitely one of the easier topics, but I'm not sure I want to know, LOL! Top Ten
Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Here are my forgotten books:
December passed in a blur of rental cars, work, Christmas, travel, and finally some down time!! I had some reading duds, but overall I think I had a decent reading month. I read 17 books and I did have a few 5-star reads! Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

My Review:
I love the cover of All's Fair in Love and Christmas. It represents the story well. This is a stand-alone story by Sarah Monzon, but I would love to see it turn into a series with some of the side characters.
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is book wishes. I know I have a ton of books I want and I am constantly tweaking my wish list. I have a million things to do today, so only managed to get five on here. Ten Five Books I would love to own:
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Indie/Self-Published Books (submitted by Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits). I am excited about this title because I have read quite a few Indie Authors 😂 The hard part will be remembering WHO they all are, LOL. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Indie/Self-Published Authors:
You all know I am going to start with Emma St. Clair! I love her books. These represent two of her series. Emma writes sweet, closed-door romantic comedies. They are hilarious. Her heroines are typically sassy and there is always some kind of animal in each book (notice I didn't say pet 😂).
