Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books to Read During a Storm (these can be cozy/comfy reads, books with storms in them, atmospheric reads for dark and stormy nights, light reads to combat the heavy weather, etc.) (Submitted by Astilbe.) While it is a great topic, I am going to tweak it for books to read in a snow storm. These books might have a snow storm in them, or they might just have snowy covers, we'll see what I come up with.Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday-Ten + books to read in a snow storm
It does have a blizzard in it, my full review will be up on Thursday, but I LOVED Waiting for Gilbert by Tasha Hackett, so much witty banter, overall a fun story. |
Waiting for Gilbert sounds like a fantastic read with its witty banter and fun story. Can't wait to see your full review on Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about the books you hope to read during a snowstorm. They all sound like cozy choices to curl up with.
What did everyone else choose for their topics this week?
Thanks Lux. All the ones at the top of my post are 5-star reads for me. I was going to link them to their reviews but ran out of time.
DeleteI love reading books about snowstorms!
ReplyDeleteLydia, same!
DeleteYou found some really inviting romances. Fun list.
ReplyDeletePlease drop me a comment. I am trying to figure out if others can get through whatever barriers my provider has placed in our way. And I need the data. Thank you. My books which include snowy scenes
Thanks Anne! I will :)
DeleteI can’t wait until there are some nice, big snowstorms where I live! What snowy covers.

Astilbe, we had a couple of inches already, but not a big snowstorm.
DeleteI can’t read your post, it’s nearly fully inaccessible for screen reader users like me. I read literally nothing. Could you please add alt text or a written list in the future? This makes your blog inclusive and your post accessible to everyone 😊 Now a whole bunch of readers is left out.

DeleteI've been in tons of thunderstorms and tropical storms, but I've never been in a snowstorm. I think I'd like to read a story with that setting.
ReplyDeleteDeb, they are interesting!
DeleteGreat list! All of these look perfect for a stormy day. I hope you'll love the ones you haven't read yet when you get to them :)

DeleteSo many people love Pepper's and Sarah's books. I don't think I've read either of these, but I do have Sarah's other Christmas (with BH I think) novel and do really want to read it. Thanks for visiting my list this past week.
ReplyDeleteRissi, I enjoy books by both of them, and I am sure I will enjoy Sarah's! I have read and loved Pepper's :)
