April was busy and went by so fast. I read 21 books in April, but several were 2-stars, and I had a record 4 DNFs so they won't be mentioned here. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

My Review:
Paint and Nectar is the second book in the Heirloom Secrets series by Ashley Clark. You don't have to read the first book to enjoy this one.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Spring 2025 to-Read List. This one is always easy for me as I want to read books, LOL! The hard part is narrowing it down to what do I want to read soonish. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

February was a weird month. We had a lot of sickness, followed by a lot of working having to make up canceled classes. I read 16 books in February and DNFed 1. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books Set in Another Time (These can be historical, futuristic, alternate universes, or even in a world where you’re not sure when it takes place you just know it’s not right now.) I really don't read books that are alternate universes, or futuristic, but I do read Historical fiction, so I will focus on ten historical fiction books I own that I still need to read. Series: Heirloom Secrets
Author: Ashley Clark
Publisher: Story Time Press
Genre: Historical Fiction, Novella
Source: Kindle Own
My Review:
A Valentine from Charleston is only 68 pages, making it more of a short story than a novella. It is a prequel to Paint and Nectar by Ashley Clark.
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Love Freebie. I have been gathering books (from my shelves, Kindle, and the library) to read for Valentine's day, so I thought it would be perfect to do a Valentine's post. Not all the books are about Valentine's day, just ones I thought would be good to read this month. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Valentine's Books I had planned to read but probably won't get to:

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is May Flowers — Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with flowers on the cover, flower names in the title, characters whose names are flower names, stories involving flowers/gardeners). I am going to feature 10 books on my want to read list that have flowers on the cover. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday-10 books on my TBR that has May Flowery Covers (or you know, a flower):
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is things that are getting in the way of reading. I get a fair amount of reading time so this doesn't really apply to me. So, I decided to go with a topic that Lisa @thePlain-Spoken Pen did recently: Net Galley rejections that hurt my heart. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
10 Net Galley rejections that crushed me AND have I read them yet?!

We are approaching spring and I love roses 🌹 so I am going to highlight ten books on my TBR that has "rose" in the title. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books From My Past Seasonal TBR Posts I STILL Haven’t Read (Submitted by Dedra @ A Book Wanderer) This sounds like an easy topic, but we will see 😂 I have only been blogging for a little over a year so my list will start with last summer. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books I was SO excited to get but I still haven't read (bonus points if you tell how long it's been since you got them). This one will be super easy for me (and probably you as well), since I have SO many. The hard part will be narrowing it down to 10. Top Ten Books that I was So excited to get but I still haven't read:
I am eventually going to post regularly on this blog! I would love a post a day, but sometimes there are none, and other days there are two, but hey, I guess I get points for trying, right? Today I decided to join a link-up because it sounded fun and got me thinking! I love when I come across things like this 😀
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is Books I Loved that Made Me Want More Books Like Them. This topic especially appealed to me because I am constantly adding to my never-ending to-be-read pile...either in cyberspace on my Goodreads shelf, or on my Kindle (over 1,000 unlogged books, send help!!) or here, physically on one of my many bookshelves, but then it still gets added to Goodreads...
