Top Ten Tuesday-Historical books I own that I need to read

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books Set in Another Time (These can be historical, futuristic, alternate universes, or even in a world where you’re not sure when it takes place you just know it’s not right now.)  I really don't read books that are alternate universes, or futuristic, but I do read Historical fiction, so I will focus on ten historical fiction books I own that I still need to read. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Books set in another time that I own and need to read:

Letter Perfect by Cathy Marie Hake

A Heart Most Worthy by Siri Mitchell

Such Deliverance As This by Rebecca Velez

The Number of Love by Roseanna M. White

Finding Lady Enderly by Joanna Davidson Politano

The Gray Chamber by Grace Hitchcock

Paint and Nectar by Ashley Clark

Lost in Darkness by Michelle Griep

The London House by Katherine Reay

The Silver Shadow by Liz Tolsma
Have you read any of these? If so, which ones do I need to move up the TBR pile?

What topic did you go with this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  2. You do have a lot of historical fiction books. They all look good. I've only read the Michelle Griep one, and I liked it, but one thing happens in it that I thought was really sad and wished could have ended differently. I'm off to look up The Gray Chamber and Paint and Nectar. :D

  12. I rarely buy books unless I am sure I will reread it. What "rules" do you apply before you purchase a book?

    1. Anne, I used to go to a used bookstore that would have super low prices for books, like under $3 for fiction, or under $1 for nonfiction, but I have caught some fiction for 5 cents, that is when I picked up most of the books I haven't read. Other's I have won in giveaways or gifted. I can't afford to pay full price for books very often, but when I do, it's authors that have already shown "favorite" status.

  15. Good idea to choose books you haven't read, yet. Maybe I should do the same, as my TBR pile gets larger and larger. LOL

  18. I haven't read Cathy's in YEARS, but I used to read them. Also, I need to read Katherine's books! They seem like they'd be great reads albeit different from her original book "styles." :)
