April was busy and went by so fast. I read 21 books in April, but several were 2-stars, and I had a record 4 DNFs so they won't be mentioned here. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

Title: The Run Option
Series: More Than A Game #3
Author: Annah Conwell
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Contemporary Romance, RomCom
Source: Kindle Unlimited
My Review:
The Run Option is the third book in the More Than A Game series, but I think it could easily stand alone. The series is a group of friends, with each book focusing on a different friend.
Series: More Than A Game #2
Author: Annah Conwell
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Contemporary Romance, RomCom
Source: Own
My Review:
The Perfect Putt is the second book in the More Than A Game series, but I think it could easily stand alone.
March was a mix of hard moments and fun moments. We had some sickness and I feel like I read more this month trying to relax from the stressful times. I read 25 books in March, but several were 2-stars so they won't be mentioned here. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books I DNFed for whatever reason. I feel like we had this topic recently, but it's not one that I care to do, so I am going to do round two of my spring TBR. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Books on my spring TBR round 2: (a mix of library books and books I own)
Series: More Than a Game #1
Author: Annah Conwell
Narrators: Kim Churchhill and Oliver Clarke
Publisher: Dreamscape Media
Genre: Romcom, Contemporary Fiction
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
I love Annah's books and was excited to listen to The Golden Goal. The narrators are okay, I didn't like the male narrator's female voice.
Series: But He's A Carter Brother #4
Author: Annah Conwell
Narrators: Kim Churchill and John William Maddux
Publisher: Dream Scape Publishing
Genre: Romcom, Contemporary Romance
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
We finally get Maverick's story in But He's My Roommate. He is a big marshmallow, which I was not expecting!
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: 2024 Releases I Was Excited to Read but Still Haven’t Gotten To (will you be prioritizing these this year?) This should be interesting. I don't remember release years but Goodreads should be able to help a girl out. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
2024 New Releases I OWN that I was excited to read and still haven't (in my defense, your honor, I got several of these in Nov/Dec):
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2024. I read 77 new-to-me-authors last year, so I will try to narrow it down to 10! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday: Binge-worthy new-to-me authors from 2024:

Happy Tuesday and MERRY CHRISTMAS my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes (List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!)
I thought about skipping this one, but I love seeing people's wishlists (don't we all!) and I hope to grant a few wishes today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

I love Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster. I first read it on Kindle and LOVED the illustrations. I bought a copy for my keeper shelf and it didn't have illustrations!!! So, now I have one on my wishlist. |
October feels like it was a pretty good reading month. It was another month with quite a few romcoms, but I also read my first Christmas book of the season. Let's see how I actually did. I read 20 books and DNF'd one. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Series: But He's A Carter Brother #3
Author: Annah Conwell
Narrator: Hayden Bishop
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: RomCom, Contemporary Romance,
Source: Hoopla
My Review:
I have been waiting for Grayson's story and But He's My Fake Fiancé did not disappoint!! While each book could be read as a stand-alone novel, I highly recommend reading this series in order.
Series: But He's A Carter Brother #2
Author: Annah Conwell
Narrator: Rusty Mewha
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: RomCom, Contemporary Romance,

My Review:
But He's My One Regret is the second book in the But He's A Carter Brother series. I highly recommend reading the Sweet Peach series first, as this is where the brother's are first introduced, then read this series in order.
Series: Sweet Peach #4
Author: Annah Conwell
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: RomCom, Contemporary Romance, Sports Romance
Source: Kindle Unlimited
My Review:
One Last Play is the final book in the Sweet Peach series. This series follows a group of friends, and while it doesn't necessarily have to be read in order, you will get small spoilers by reading it out of order.
September was a blur. I don't really feel like I accomplished or did much. I read 18 books and DNF'd two, but I had more variety in reading this month!! Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Narrators: Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: RomCom, Christian Fiction, Contemporary

My Review:
The First Taste is the third book in the Sweet Peach series. I highly recommend reading them in order. They follow a group of four best friends and each book builds on the previous one.
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape (bonus points if you tell us why!). I am of the mindset that ALL books (at least fiction) provide an escape, so I am tweaking the topic just a little bit to books I recently loved escaping into. In order to make the list, the books must have received 5-stars from me. And, since I have read a TON of romcoms recently...hopefully there is a little bit of variety in the list😂. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday: books I recently loved escaping into (tweaked it even more so I am not using the same author or series):
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books Involving Food (That are Not Cookbooks) (Submitted by Cathy @ WhatCathyReadNext and Hopewell’s Public Library of Life) I am tweaking the topic just a little bit to books I think involve food (because I have not read these so I don't know for sure). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
