Top Ten Tuesday-Dear Santa, I Want Them All

Happy Tuesday and MERRY CHRISTMAS my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes (List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!)

I thought about skipping this one, but I love seeing people's wishlists (don't we all!) and I hope to grant a few wishes today. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Dear Santa, I Want Them All

I love Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster. I first read it on Kindle and LOVED the illustrations. I bought a copy for my keeper shelf and it didn't have illustrations!!! So, now I have one on my wishlist.

I have enjoyed other books by Jerry Bridges, and have had The Fruitful Life on my wishlist for quite a while. According to my son, no one wants to get nonfiction, so he doesn't buy it for me, LOL! I would love nonfiction books :)
I have read and loved all of C.C. Warrens books, and Cross the Line is one I don't own, but would like to.
Anne Kemp is an author I had planned to try this year, but did not get a chance to. I am hoping to read her next year, and Falling In Love with Your Best Friend is the first book in one of series.
I am a sucker for wedding in the title or on the cover. I have not read Jordan Millsaps, but The Wedding Date Deal intrigues me.
I have loved the books I have read by Annah Conwell and The Golden Goal is the first book in her newest series.
Dana LeCheminant was a new-to-me author this year. I loved her Wonder Boys series and can't wait to dive into more of her works. For Butter or Worse caught me with the title, LOL!
I enjoy Pepper Basham's works and am looking forward to reading Hope Like Wildflowers.
I recently read Waiting for Gilbert by Tasha Hackett and loved it! I want a copy for my keeper shelf so I can read it again and again!!!

This is not a book (obviously!) but have you all seen these Book Nook Kits??? How cool are these? I think it would be fun to get one of these and give it a go. I heard about these by visiting a few author's pages where they talked about bookish gifts. I mentioned it to my husband and he said he looked at them but didn't think I would like it, LOL! I have no idea how he found it, but thought I would share here in case you haven't heard about them. I believe it was Chautona Havig and Kristi Ann Hunter who shared about these.

My Amazon wishlist changes frequently. I typically only put books on my wishlist that the library doesn't have, but I do have a few books on the list that I have read and now must own. My family does not like to shop from my wishlist because they want to be sure I can't find what they are getting me, which means they don't normally buy me books, LOL! My son does buy from the list because he doesn't want to come up with something else. What is on your wishlist this year?

What topic did you go with this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  7. Some of these look so cute and fun! I've read about some but then others are new to me (which is part of the reason book lists are cool) so I'll have more to read about. Hope you find them all under your tree and thanks so much for visiting my list today! :)
