Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Bookish Goals for 2025 (How many books do you want to read this year? Are you hoping to read outside your comfort zone? Are there books you meant to read last year but never got to? Are there new-to-you authors you’re hoping to read?) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

My Year in Books-A Meme

My Year in Books

Rules?

  • Answer the questions with titles from books you read in 2024. (Some may end up being silly, others may seem overly serious.)

  • Participate by copying the questions below, erasing my answers, and inserting you own.
  • Once you’ve created your post, link up with Anne-My Head is full of Books HERE so others can see it, then visit others’ posts to see how they answered the questions.

Free Little Library

Happy Saturday, friends! I hope your day is going well in your neck of the woods. I am excited to tell you of a new bookish project I am working on...I am setting up a Free Little Library in my neighborhood (in my yard!) and I could NOT be more excited about it. I want it built like yesterday so I could already be stocking it with books...unfortunately, it is a process and it takes time and I need to be patient!

No add July update

July was hard because I decided not to buy any books or add any books to my to-be-read list on Goodreads. The plan was to work on catching up on reviews and obligated books, not adding any more obligations. Which I did. I read quite a bit and while I am not as far behind I am not completely caught up either! I went to several bookstores in July and walked out with no books for me...until yesterday. We are in Virginia visiting friends and they mentioned they had a McKay's bookstore 😲 Not sure how we have been here for 10 years and not know that (our checkbook thanks us!).

No-Add July

I love everything about books. The new book smell. The feel of the book in your hand. The new adventure each time you open a new book. The ability to store tons of books on the Kindle. The over-flowing bookshelves. Finding books at yard sales, used bookstores, pretty much anywhere, LOL. Telling people what you are reading. Writing reviews. Watching for new releases. Getting ARC's. Being asked to review books. Following favorite authors. Being organized on Goodreads. It all just brings me joy!
