Top Ten Tuesday-10 Before the End

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isThe First 10 Books I Randomly Grabbed from My Shelf. I have multiple shelves, and while this is a fine topic, I decided I would rather do my list of 10 books I want to get read before the end of the year. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

October Reading Wrap Up 2025

What month are we wrapping up? With being sick at the beginning of the month, I got to read more books this month, and had quite a few 5-star reads. I read 20 books and had 1 DNF and one two star read (which I don't talk about on here). Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

Top Ten Tuesday-It's all about the mistletoe

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Halloween Freebie. I am not doing anything for Halloween (except working), and don't read books that would fall under the Halloween vibe, so I am going a different route. It's all about the mistletoe. I have quite a few books on my TBR with Mistletoe in it, so I thought I would go that direction! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Cozy Atmospheric Reads

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Cozy/Atmospheric Reads.  For this topic, I am going with books that tend to be read in the fall, give off fall vibes, have a cozy drink, or romcoms because that is cozy and atmospheric to me right now. I don't want anything too heavy. I have mostly skipped to Christmas reading, but do still have a few fall themed books I want to read this year. Hopefully, this will be a new list, and not stuff I have already shared, LOL! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Stacking the Shelves #189 Sunday Post #186 Sunday Salon #180

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was mostly spent at home trying to heal from all this crud. Last Sunday I went to the doctor and they said secondary bacterial infection. Thursday found me back at the doctor because I wasn't any better and it was my last day of antibiotics. I was prescribed another 10 days of antibiotics, 2 more nasal sprays, and ordered to get out in the sun as long
as we have it for 15-30 minutes a day to boost my immune system. I didn't end up working this week, with still being sick and unsure if I was contagious, so I had more free time than normal. We are hoping to do some hiking this weekend, I am still trying to get all my energy back, but I am ready to get back to my hikes and walks as well.

Stacking the Shelves #188 Sunday Post #185 Sunday Salon #179

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was busy with a few extra appointments, and Wednesday was A DAY, but then Friday rolled around and I got off 2 hours early, with pay! So, I can't complain too much. Friday evening was just lots of relaxing, ordering pizza, watching tv with the family, and reading. We had no plans for the weekend, but now we have 2 house showings, and I woke up sick again this morning. I don't know if whatever I had decided to rear it's ugly head again, or if this is another virus. I had felt mostly better this week, still a slight cough and some congestion, but now my cough is worse again and a ton of congestion. (Update 10/12-secondary bacterial infection from my previous illness that never completely went away)

Top Ten Tuesday-Satisfying book series

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isSatisfying Book Series. I love this topic, I think the hardest part will be narrowing it down to ten! I will apologize in advance if I have mentioned all of them a thousand times already 😁. I narrowed it down by choosing series that I have read all the books and none of the books in the series have less than four stars. I narrowed it down further by not allowing myself more than one series per author (I started with over 30 series). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday- Twelve satisfying book series (because I narrowed it down far enough, LOL!)-the first book in each series will be pictured and linked to Goodreads

1. The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens-suspense, thriller, no romance, Christian

Christmas Reading Challenges 2025

I know, I know, I said I was tired of challenges, and I am, BUT, hear me out. I am tired of the ones I am already working on, I'm not tired of Christmas yet 😂. I am going to read Christmas books anyway, I might as well support some fellow bloggers 😁. So, I am going to try to finish up my other challenges this month, so that I can clear the deck to read as many Christmas books as my heart desires. This year has been super hard and I am looking forward to the hope/happy feels that Christmas reads generally bring.

Stacking the Shelves #187 Sunday Post #184 Sunday Salon #178

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? I had Monday off of work since I was still sick, so I had a few extra days to rest this week. I spent the time reading, blogging, and taking naps. It was still a long week and I am still exhausted. We don't have any set plans for this weekend. I will be catching up on laundry, maybe some cleaning, and we might go for a hike.

Top Ten Tuesday-No book slump here

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isBooks Guaranteed to Put an End to Your Book Slump (Which books would you recommend to someone (it’s me, I’m someone) dealing with the dreaded book slump? No book is grabbing their attention or making them excited to sit down and read and they are suffering for it.) I can't guarantee that these books would get everyone out of a book slump, but these are books that would get me out of a book slump. I was originally going to just go with romcoms, but I decided to be a bit more versatile. The thing they all have in common: the stories stuck with me. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Unforgettable books to read again

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books I’d Like to Re-read (Share either your favorite books that you enjoy re-reading or books that you’d like to read again!) (Submitted by Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog) I am not a huge rereader, but I am finding more and more books that I do want to re-read, so maybe it is growing on me. In order for me to want to read a book again, it has to make an impression, a book that is unforgettable. So, this is a list of unforgettable books that I would love to read again. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the Second Half of 2025. Yay, thank you Jana, for an easy topic this week 😁. I keep a list on Goodreads for 2025 book releases, so this should be fairly easy. The hard part will be narrowing it down, (and I ended up adding more to my list, LOL). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Alice Taylor is More Than A Princess

Title: Alice Taylor is More Than A Princess

Series: Another Bailey Brother #5

Author: Jen Atkinson

Publisher: Independently Published

Genre: RomCom, Contemporary Romance

Source: Kindle Unlimited

My Review:

I have loved all the Bailey brother books and Alice Taylor is More Than a Princess did not disappoint. Alice was always one of my favorite characters. She was a child in all the books, but always spoke her mind. Not much has changed now that she is an adult 😂.
