TTT-2026 Spring Pile of possibilities

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List. This is always fun and I have a gazillion books I want to read. Just and FYI, I am struggling and in a weird head space. My mom is not doing well, and is officially in hospice. I am grieving (anticipatory grief), and it is hard for me to focus and keep up with things. If you notice slack over the next few weeks (or past few weeks), this is why. The Insta series is one that is best read in order. It should also be read before The Bailey Brother's series, as that is a spin-off series to this one. However, ALL books in both series should be read 😁.

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? It was a long, busy week, but I survived. The weather was in the 50s and it was SO nice to be able to get out and walk some! Fake spring is over and it is cold again, I even saw flurries on my way home from work on Friday. I had book club on Thursday, and that is always a fun time. We are not doing much this weekend. I will probably go pick up my library holds, and we will go to Church, other than that just normal stuff around the house.

January Reading Wrap Up 2026

January was a dumpster fire and I don't think I have ever been so ready to flip the calendar to a new month! I won't recap here all the bad from the month, but I will talk about all the books I read. I saved Insta Kiss to read around Christmas, but I could have easily read it right after reading the second book. Although it is set around Christmas, it's not essential to read it during the holiday season. Additionally, it can be easily read as a standalone.

At the beginning of the year I listed my 2025 Bookish goals. I am very much a type A personality. When I set a goal I have every intention of getting it, and I feel this internal pressure to finish what I started. This year I started having to let things go, which isn't easy for me, but there was already so much stress, I didn't need it from my fun hobby.

Stacking the Shelves #189 Sunday Post #186 Sunday Salon #180

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was mostly spent at home trying to heal from all this crud. Last Sunday I went to the doctor and they said secondary bacterial infection. Thursday found me back at the doctor because I wasn't any better and it was my last day of antibiotics. I was prescribed another 10 days of antibiotics, 2 more nasal sprays, and ordered to get out in the sun as long
as we have it for 15-30 minutes a day to boost my immune system. I didn't end up working this week, with still being sick and unsure if I was contagious, so I had more free time than normal. We are hoping to do some hiking this weekend, I am still trying to get all my energy back, but I am ready to get back to my hikes and walks as well.
