My Review:

If you have been around for a while you know I LOVE Emma St. Clair's books. Runaway Bride and Prejudice is no exception. It is different from anything that Emma St. Clair has written and I am here for it.

I highly recommend going into the story blind. Don't read a lot of reviews (because spoilers) and I wouldn't read the synopsis either.  This is a book that is best experienced with no hint of spoilers. So, don't worry, I will not give you spoilers, but I will give you some thoughts and pointers, and maybe a few reassurances 😂.

Runaway Bride and Prejudice has the typical things you would expect from St. Clair's books: great writing, witty banter, wonderful friendships, a pet, laugh out loud moments, and more. Some authors' works seem to follow a formula, this one does not do that!

I also recommend sitting down to read when you have a lot of time because you will not want to stop. I read this over three days and was SO annoyed that real life was getting in the way of finishing it. I had to stop at a moment where I was not sure what was happening and it was awful, LOL!

Runaway Bride and Prejudice is definitely in my top five books by St. Clair, possibly even my top two. It was an amazing story and it even choked me up a few times. I wish I could say more because there is so much I want to say, however, I really don't want a hint of spoilers.

If you enjoy Emma St. Clair's books it is a safe bet that you will love this one too!

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this book. I would have read it anyway, LOL, but I am thankful for the ebook so I could read it a few days early. I am not required to provide a positive review and all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

★★★★★/5

 Synopsis (Goodreads):

You can head over to Goodreads if you want to ignore my advice and read the synopsis anyway 😂.

  1. I love her books. And I love all the romances surrounding the Appies. Why are hockey romances so fun? I don't even watch hockey. ;D Can't wait to read this one.

    1. Lark, I have only been to one hockey game and loved it! However, I have no desire to watch it on tv, but I am LOVING these books about it, or maybe it's the romance I enjoy more, LOL! And, you will love it!!

  2. I've been enjoying reading a book "blind" more and more. I mean I do know SOEMTHING about the book before I purchase it, but sometimes those books sit around for so long I forget and so then I enjoy just picking them up and discovering what's inside. :)

    1. Rissi, same, I just hate spoilers or knowing too much. If I think there is going to be something unsettling, I might glance through some reviews.
