I have been so focused on reading the books I own, or are already on my TBR, that I haven't been following new releases as closely as I normally would. The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens remains one of my favorite suspense series! Perfect for those who do not enjoy romance in their stories. Holly has had a difficult life and is hiding from a stalker. My review of Criss Cross.

October 2024 Reading Wrap Up

October feels like it was a pretty good reading month. It was another month with quite a few romcoms, but I also read my first Christmas book of the season. Let's see how I actually did. I read 20 books and DNF'd one. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

My Review:

The Color of Home is Kit Tosello's debut novel. The cover and title represent the book well. I am struggling to put my thoughts into words, and my review will not capture all that is the essence of this story.

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I am doing alright. It was a super busy week, but I also don't feel like I accomplished much. I am working this morning, then plan to spend the rest of the day crocheting, blogging, and reading (I hope!). Tomorrow I am doing the dreaded colonoscopy prep for my colonoscopy on Monday, so I won't be much. I hope you all have a great weekend!
