February was a weird month. We had a lot of sickness, followed by a lot of working having to make up canceled classes. I read 16 books in January and DNFed 1. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2025. I had read it wrong and thought it said first quarter, so it was going to be a short list. But, I might actually get ten by doing the first half of the year. I am sure there are a ton of books coming out I am going to want to read, I just don't know about them yet 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
My most anticipated releases for the first half of the year:

So, part two of the JustRead Rendezvous 2024 reader event. You can read part one here. After lunch was another reader panel. Kimberley Woodhouse was the moderator of this one. Each author had to pick one of their characters to be and only answer as that character. It was hilarious. Several authors on the panel were suspense writers, and a couple were fantasy. Sara Ella was one of the authors and I loved her answers. She was in character as Alice in Wonderland from her book The Wonderland Trials. While I had read several authors books who were on the different panels throughout the day, hearing all the authors talk and interact made me want to read their books, even though several are genres I don't read.
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Halloween Freebie. Saturday I went hiking with my husband and yesterday (Monday) I went hiking with my son. I thought it would be fun to do a post on books that have hiking in them. The problem is my memory! I know I read two books recently that had hiking in it and I only remember one of them. I also know there was one book in one of my favorite series, but of course I can't remember which book, LOL! So, what you are actually going to get are books that either have hiking in them, or are set in National parks so might have hiking in them 😂Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten books that might encourage you to go hiking:
June was a crazy, busy month that felt like about 600 years. I feel like I did a fair amount of reading, but I also felt like it was taking me forever to finish each book. So let's see what it actually looks like 😂. I read 15 books and DNF'd one. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Series: Missing in Alaska #3
Author: Elizabeth Goddard
Publisher: Revell
Genre: Christian Fiction, Suspense,
Source: Revell
My Review:
Hidden in the Night is the third book in the Missing in Alaska series by Elizabeth Goddard. While threading them in order is most enjoyable, they can easily stand alone.
November passed in a blur of work, travel, car troubles, and my son's ongoing recovery. I had some reading duds, but overall I think I had a
decent reading month. I read 13 books (low for me) and DNFed 1. Click on the cover of
the book if you are interested in the review.

Genre: Christian Fiction, Suspense, Contemporary Romance

My Review:
Shadows at Dusk is the second book in Elizabeth Goddard's Missing in Alaska series. However, it can easily be read as a stand-alone novel.
Happy Friday, my bookish friends! I hope you all have a great day and weekend! First Line Friday is hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. This week I am reading Shadows at Dusk by Elizabeth Goddard. It is the second book in her Missing in Alaska series.
Normally I am late with these posts, but this time I am early, LOL. But, to be real, I know I am not going to read anymore big books before September 4th, and I won't get to anymore on my summer TBR. When I planned for these challenges I had NO idea I would lose my job and then spend 2ish months setting up my a small business. This REALLY cut down on my reading time.
So, what did I read. For the 20 Books of Summer Challenge, here were my possibilities (the ones I read are linked to my reviews):
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Most Anticipated Books Releasing During the Second Half of 2023. (So apparently this was last week's topic, so it's my freebie 😂) There are SO many great books coming out just this summer that it will be hard to limit it to ten. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
The Top Ten Books I am most excited about releasing the 2nd half of 2023:
I finished 13 books in June (which is the lowest I can remember-ever). Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.
