Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was long. I am still completely wiped out. We had 5 showings between M-W, which contributed to the longer week. However, our house DID go under contract, BUT they have to sell their house first. So, my praying friends, please pray their house sells and they continue with the contract on our house. I don't know that I will handle it well if it falls through a third time. I am SO thankful it is the weekend!! We are mostly catching up on projects at home. I feel like I should start packing, but will hold off until their house goes under contract. I have already missed things that got packed up this summer.

I'm sorry, but I don't read a lot of books with true villains, and the suspense with bad guys, I just don't remember enough details to do a list. Here we are for another monthly wrap up fa la la la la la la la la. I have no idea how it is already December. It's hard to slow down and enjoy anything when time is marching along at warp speed. My Review:

Deadly Revenge, the third and final book in the Pearl River series begins with a bang. While I recommend the books be read in order, this one could also be read as a standalone novel.

Hey bookish friends! These past couple of weeks have been busy. I am currently sitting in a hotel in Downer's Grove, Illinois waiting on my husband to get ready so we can head back home. We got here on Wednesday and yesterday was the JustRead Rendezvous event. More than 50 Christian fiction authors were here, with 150+ readers. It was AMAZING and exhausting and I will be devoting an entire post to the event sometime this week. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

I thought it would be fun to do a post on books that have hiking in them. The problem is my memory! I know I read two books recently that had hiking in it and I only remember one of them. I also know there was one book in one of my favorite series, but of course I can't remember which book, LOL! I immediately went into Fatal Witness after finishing the first book, Counter Attack. I highly recommend reading them in order.

August Reading Wrap-Up

August found me with more reading time...although the month still flew past.
