Top Ten Tuesday-Books I think involve food

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books Involving Food (That are Not Cookbooks) (Submitted by Cathy @ WhatCathyReadNext and Hopewell’s Public Library of Life) I am tweaking the topic just a little bit to books I think involve food (because I have not read these so I don't know for sure). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-My most read authors

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Wish Had More/Less [Insert Your Concept Here]. These topics are hard for me, so I am going to go a different route. Today I am going to highlight some of the authors I have read the most (I don't know who originally did this topic, but thanks for the suggestion!) March 2024 Reading Wrap-up

March is traditionally a very long month with no breaks. This month was weird with Easter being in March. I feel like I did a lot of reading this month, so let's see what it actually looks like 😂. I read 19 books and DNF'd one. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review. As a reminder, I don't share anything lower than 3 star's on this page, or my DNFs.

The Heart's Shelter

Title: The Heart's Shelter - Audiobook Review

Series: An Amish Legacy #4

Author: Amy Clipston

Narrator: Lauren Berst

Publisher: Zondervan

Genre: Amish, Christian Fiction, Contemporary Romance

Source: Net Galley & Zondervan

My Review

The Heart's Shelter by Amy Clipston is the fourth book in the Amish Legacy series. There is enough background given that it was easy to dive into this book without reading the other books (I have only read the first one).

Stacking the Shelves #112, Sunday Post #109, Sunday Salon #103

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? It was a long week, but more productive.  I have work this morning, but hope to relax for most of the day. Tomorrow morning is church, and then I plan to spend the rest of the day reading, blogging, and RELAXING 😀 while my son has friends over for a game day.

Stacking the Shelves #111, Sunday Post #108, Sunday Salon #102

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? It was another long week. On Thursday I ended up at the doctor's office for an infected cyst on my face. She did not give me antibiotics, but sent me to a specialist. Thankfully, I was able to get in Friday morning. I am now on antibiotics and if all heals well, will have the cyst surgically removed on March 15. I have work this morning, but hope to relax for most of the day. Tomorrow morning is church, and then I plan to spend the rest of the day reading, blogging, and RELAXING 😀.

Top Ten Tuesday-Net Galley rejections that crushed me

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is things that are getting in the way of reading. I get a fair amount of reading time so this doesn't really apply to me.  So, I decided to go with a topic that Lisa @thePlain-Spoken Pen did recently: Net Galley rejections that hurt my heart. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

10 Net Galley rejections that crushed me AND have I read them yet?!

10/31/20 no, nor is it on my TBR 🤷 when I finally read the first one I might put it on the TBR.

November Reading Wrap-up

I am afraid to do this post, LOL. I have no idea how many books I actually read in November and I don't really want to see how far from my reading challenge goals I am. I have already started thinking about my goals for next year, but maybe I need to focus on completing this year first!

I finished 8 books in November and DNF 1. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.

20 Books of Summer

It's no secret that I have been trying to whittle down my physical TBR shelves, as well as my Goodreads shelf (although I am continually adding to that one 😂).
