First Line Friday #102-To Love A Prince

Happy Friday, my bookish friends! I hope you all have a great day and weekend! First Line Friday is hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!!  I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. This week I am reading To Love a Prince by Rachel Hauck. The beginning gives me The Princess Bride vibes and Adam Sandler's movie Bedtime Stories.

Stacking the Shelves #83, Sunday Post #80, Sunday Salon #74

Hey bookish friends! How are you all doing? It was a long week with being in NC for a few days. There was not much time for reading or blogging. I plan to read, relax, and hang out with my family this weekend.

45 Favorite books

So, today is my birthday and I decided to do a fun post (for meπŸ˜‚), not sure if you will find it fun or not. I have a ton of favorite books (244 (that I have remembered to mark) on my Goodreads shelf), so it will still be hard for me to narrow this down to forty-five...I might cheat a little and say "series," but, it's my birthday and I can do what I want, LOL! So, not in any particular order, or linked to any reviews (because I am lazy), here are forty-five of my favorite books:

Hey bookish friends! How are you all doing? I am doing okay. Another busy week and I am on day 4 of another sore throat. Not sure what is going on. This morning my husband and I ran errands (including a trip to Barnes and Noble). This afternoon I worked on our business for a while, and then sewed for a while. Tomorrow I hope to rest and relax. What are your plans for the weekend?

Top Ten Tuesday-Goodreads Giveaways

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books on My Summer 2023 to-Read List. I basically did that when I did my 20 Books Of Summer Post. So, today, I decided to do something I have never done before. I am featuring that last ten book giveaways I have entered on Goodreads. I have NEVER won a giveaway on there, but it doesn't stop me from entering. Especially since some of you have won, so I know it's possible πŸ˜€Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Hey bookish friends! How are things going for you? It was another busy week for us. My husband found out Friday morning he was exposed to Covid on Wednesday, then later that morning he started with a sore throat and a sniffle. So far testing negative but we will be low-key this weekend.

Top Ten Tuesday-Library wishes granted.

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is bookish wishes. While this is a great topic, I am not able to gift books this time, so I don't feel right putting my list out there. I am on vacation and meant to schedule a post but ran out of time so this one will be quick. Today I am doing library books that I have requested and my library has bought them! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-2021 releases I still need to read

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had an ice storm come through on Sunday with a little bit of snow, so we were in Sunday and Monday (not complaining!). I enjoyed the time to read, blog, and spend with my family with very little distractions.Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is 2021 new releases that I was excited to get to, but didn't. At first I didn't think I would have that many, but looking back I actually had 32 books that I was really looking forward to and wanting to read. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today!

Top Ten Tuesday-Books I wish I could have read in one sitting

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday! While I love to read it is rare to have uninterrupted time to just sit and read. I imagine it is the same with you. So, this week’s topic features books that I would read in one sitting (or would if I had the time!) I imagine this will be an easy list to make, especially since there were several books recently that I have not wanted to put down to do anything. Those are the types of books that I will feature this week. The hard part will be narrowing it down to just 10!! You know, typical book nerd problems πŸ˜‚ Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
