Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Destination Titles (titles with name of places in them. These places can be real or fiction! Thanks to Rachel @ Sunny Side for the idea!) Today we are traveling through books, which is one of my favorite things to do. So, where are we going? Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten-ish books that will take us to a specific location. Where are we going? These are all books on my physical or kindle shelves that I have not read.
And a few favorites that I have read:
When I was a little girl, it was the Alps that was my dream location. Maybe I should look for a book set in the Alps!
ReplyDeleteDeb, you should! I think it makes a great book location (and would be wonderful to see in real life as well).
DeleteA Christmas in the Alps sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteHere is my post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-destination-titles/
Lydia, I think so too!
DeleteOhhhh the Alps! I've only been one time but it's so gorgeous there. Would love to go again someday.
ReplyDeleteStephanie, that's awesome! I think it would be great to visit there!
DeleteSo many fun covers & titles! I've already scribbled half of them down to add to my own TBR list. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, I love it! :)
DeleteMackinac Island. That book reminded me that I still need to visit that island. Ha! I guess that is the bonus of today's activity.
ReplyDeleteMy list is here: TTT
Anne, we want to go to see it someday too! Now that we live in Ohio we might actually make it!
DeleteI hope you enjoy the ones you haven't read yet! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Poinsettia!
DeleteI've been a little surprised not to see more titles referring to Mackinac Island today. There are so many books set there! But your list is the first I've seen that includes one.
ReplyDeleteLark, but there are also SO many places to choose from :)
DeleteGreat list, Cindy. I loved Hunter's Bluebell Inn series. So good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole!
DeleteI grew up in Washington State and Seaside, Oregon, was a place we visited often in the summers. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, fun! I would love to get to the west coast someday!
DeleteI hope to read A Christmas in the Alps soon. My list this week stayed in the US.

Pam, I am hoping to get it read this season as well!
DeleteGreat list! I haven't read any of these either, but I love the covers. The Alps would be a gorgeous location to travel to :)
ReplyDeleteIf you'd like to visit, here's my TTT: https://thebooklorefairy.blogspot.com/2024/11/top-ten-tuesday-destination-titles.html
Marwah, I agree, I think it would be wonderful to get an opportunity to visit the Alps!
DeleteI read Christmas in the Alps and enjoyed it. That is somewhere I would like to visit. Lots of great locations and authors on this list, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carla!
DeleteI didn't get a chance to do a post this week but I don't know if I know of this many books with destinations in the title. You certainly pulled it off well, though!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I had SO many to choose from!
DeleteWe're both going to London, but that's about all the similarities on my list.
ReplyDeleteHere are my destinations:

Marianne, and that's okay, there are so many great places to go!
DeleteI remember being curious about Rachel's 'Nashville' books once upon a time. But they weren't ones I ended up reading. Maybe someday I will still yet.
ReplyDeleteRissi, yes, it was worth it :)
