Top Ten Tuesday- Favorites from 2024

Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is : Best Books I Read in 2024. The hardest part about today's topic is going to be narrowing it down. I had 55 books that I marked as a favorite in 2024 (and that's assuming I didn't miss any)! Here we are for another monthly wrap up fa la la la la la la la la. I have no idea how it is already December. It's hard to slow down and enjoy anything when time is marching along at warp speed. My Review:

I am not a fan of Westerns, except, apparently, when Karen Witemeyer writes them. While I enjoyed In Honor's Defense, my favorite of the series is the second book, The Heart's Charge.

I am not a fan of Western's-except, apparently, when Karen Witemeyer writes them. I love her books but kept putting off reading this series because I knew it was a Western. The Heart's Charge is even better than the first book, At Love's Command.

September 2024 Reading Wrap Up

I put off At Love's Command for several years, even though I enjoy Karen Witemeyer's writing because it is a Western. If you follow me at all, you know that is not something I read much of.

Crossroads #5 in the Holly Series-although I have LOVED every book in the series. I *think* this is my favorite, so hard to pick!!

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. I decided to take a mini-blog break and spend time with my family, and just relax, I wasn't feeling the greatest. This week has been long, I put in my notice at my nanny job, and have worked long days with my business, I am wiped out. I am going to share books I have gotten over the last 2 weeks.

March is traditionally a very long month with no breaks. This month was weird with Easter being in March. I feel like I did a lot of reading this month, so let's see what it actually looks like 😂. I enjoy Karen Witemeyer's stories, but this one is my least favorite of all the ones I have read.

Stacking the Shelves #104, Sunday Post #101, Sunday Salon #95

Hey bookish friends! This week was back to the grind! I went back to work (nanny job) on Monday. That afternoon I looked out the window and there was a puddle under my car! Guess what went back into the shop on Tuesday?! My MIL also went into the hospital on Monday, with some kind of infection (she had knee replacement surgery the Wednesday before). Wednesday my daughter went back to college and my husband took a mental health day (we needed it!). We also realized there was a puddle in one of the rooms of the basement, so we have a small leak. Thursday I got my car back again! This morning was all work, I am fighting a migraine and I HOPE to relax the rest of this day :) How are you doing?

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books on our winter 2023-24 to read list. I have not made a list like that, and this year I don't plan to (gasp!). Usually my list is made up of ARCs and books on my book challenges. I only have one ARC that I have committed to, and I don't plan to do any traditional challenges in the next year (we'll see how long that resolve lasts, LOL). The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens. This is one of the best series I have ever read. I have read all of her books and they have all been five stars (I have not read her novella yet). As an added bonus C.C. is very creative and has a bookish shop, check out her T-shirts/swag, I want them all 😂
