What month are we wrapping up? With being sick at the beginning of the month, I got to read more books this month, and had quite a few 5-star reads. Fairest of Heart is the first of Karen Witemeyer's Texas Ever After series. With the stories being fairy tale retellings, they don't need to be read in any particular order.

I narrowed it down by choosing series that I have read all the books and none of the books in the series have less than four stars. The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens remains one of my favorite suspense series! Perfect for those who do not enjoy romance in their stories. Holly has had a difficult life and is hiding from a stalker. My review of Criss Cross.

I am not a fan of Westerns, except, apparently, when Karen Witemeyer writes them. While I enjoyed In Honor's Defense, my favorite of the series is the second book, The Heart's Charge.

I am not a fan of Western's-except, apparently, when Karen Witemeyer writes them. I love her books but kept putting off reading this series because I knew it was a Western. The Heart's Charge is even better than the first book, At Love's Command.

I put off At Love's Command for several years, even though I enjoy Karen Witemeyer's writing because it is a Western. If you follow me at all, you know that is not something I read much of.

Crossroads #5 in the Holly Series-although I have LOVED every book in the series. I *think* this is my favorite, so hard to pick!!

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. I decided to take a mini-blog break and spend time with my family, and just relax, I wasn't feeling the greatest. This week has been long, I put in my notice at my nanny job, and have worked long days with my business, I am wiped out. I am going to share books I have gotten over the last 2 weeks.
