October Reading Wrap Up 2026

October was busy, especially with moving, but I feel like I was still able to read a lot. It was a better reading month than the last few months have been, as far as ratings/enjoyment goes. I finished 20 books, and I had  two 2-star reads, so only 18 will be highlighted here.  Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

My Review:

I love multi-generational stories. Something about them draws me in. This one was no exception. I was immediately drawn in by Gerrit's plight.

September Reading Wrap Up 2026

I feel redundant, but September went by in a blink. It was busy, but I feel like I was able to still read a lot. It was a better reading month than the last few months have been, as far as ratings/enjoyment goes. I finished 18 books, and I had one DNF and two 2-star reads, so only 16 will be highlighted here.  Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

TTT- Fall 2026 possibilities

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Fall 2026 To-Read List (or Spring if you live in the Southern Hemisphere). I actually haven't given this much thought, but there are always books that I want to read, so let's see which ones I want to read the most, right now, LOL. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday- My top 11 Fall Possibilities (because I can't count, LOL)

The Second Chance Trailer Park

My Review:

Meredith is hard to relate to at the beginning of the story. I am not that far from fifty-two, and I can't imagine moving into a senior living trailer park as a means to settle down.

My Review:

When I first started reading the story, I was like, "That wouldn't happen that way."

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? We enjoyed our visit to NC last weekend, it was nice to see my in-laws. There were some stressors (who is surprised?), but overall it was good.

TTT-F is for fantastic favorites

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books With Nationalities In The Title (e.g. The French Lieutenant’s Woman, Mexican Gothic, An American Marriage, etc.) (submitted by Cathy @WhatCathyReadNext). I tried to do this but I don't read many books with Nationalities in the title. I found three. So, instead, I am going to go a different route.  I am going to continue with the alphabet and I am up to "F." I picked ten of my favorites that started with F and for me all were 5-star reads. A  B, C, D, and E. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I am doing okay.  Last Saturday our dryer went out and my MIL had a medical emergency and we almost lost her. It was a rough start to the week, but she is now home, doing better, our dryer is fixed, and my FIL finished his radiation treatments on Friday. I am feeling so incredibly thankful. Today, my husband and I are at an event called The Fest, we are only there for the concerts, we are not really festival people, LOL. My favorite band is on at 6PM and I am hoping the rain that we are supposed to get holds off. What are your plans for the weekend?

TTT-Priority books for 2026

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Freebie! I wasn't sure if I would be able to come up with a topic, but then I decided to talk about one of my reading goals for the year. So, I plan to read at least 50 of my owned books this year. As a secondary goal, I wanted to get my unread fiction books under 100. Well, with the few pre-orders I ordered this year (I think close to 10 total), and having won a few books...it has made the goal a little harder. So, in addition to reading from my own shelves, I am trying to read the pre-orders then they come in as well. (Spoiler alert, I am behind, LOL). So, here are 10 books that are top priority to be read before the end of the year. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Fall 2025 TBR part 2

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books on My Fall 2025 to-Read List. Since I have almost twenty books I own that I want to read before the end of the year, plus a few ARCs, I started my fall TBR last week. You can see part 1 here. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Fall 2025 TBR Part 2

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte-this one intimidates me and I keep putting it off.

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was fairly uneventful, busy and tiring. We had some nice mornings, so I was able to get out and walk before work. This weekend we are cleaning/doing some errands, then we hope to go for a long walk/hike on Sunday.

Top Ten Tuesday-Anticipated releases for second half of 2025

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the Second Half of 2025. Yay, thank you Jana, for an easy topic this week 😁. I keep a list on Goodreads for 2025 book releases, so this should be fairly easy. The hard part will be narrowing it down, (and I ended up adding more to my list, LOL). Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten-ish Tuesday-my most anticipated releases for the second half of 2025

Top Ten Tuesday-Which "road" will you read?

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books with the Word “[Insert Word Here]” in the Title (Choose a word and find ten books with that word in the title.) I decided to go with the word "road" for today. I am spending a lot of time on the road looking for a new house, and traveling about, so it seemed fitting. The ones I have read are linked to my review, just click on the image if you want to see my thoughts on the book. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Which "road" will you read?

Good Hope Road by Lisa Wingate-I own this one but haven't read it yet.

Top Ten Tuesday-Whatever the Weather reads

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books with Weather Events in the Title/on the Cover (I’m picturing a list of titles with weather-related words in them like storm, rain, blizzard, flood, lightning, hail, snow, wind, etc. OR covers with lightning/storms in the picture.) I have not read the books pictured here, I either own them on Kindle, or on my physical shelves, or I just want to read them. It was HARD for me to find these, I guess I don't read a lot of weather books! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

10 whatever the weather reads that I want to read:

Top Ten Tuesday-Recent additions to my TBR

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Ten Most Recent Books I Did Not Finish. I would not normally put my DNF books on my blog, so I am going to skip this topic. Instead I will do the last ten books I added to my "Want to read" list on Goodreads. Most of them are books that haven't been released yet. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

6 Degrees of Separation -Feb. 2023 Trust

#6degrees of Separation is hosted by Kate at booksaremyfavouriteandbest on the first Saturday of each month. The gist is that everyone starts with the same book, then finds another book that relates to it somehow, then one that relates to the second, until you’ve got a chain of six additional books. It’s a twist on the theory that every person on earth can somehow be connected to any other person in six or fewer steps, and provides an opportunity to talk about random books we love (or don’t).

Top Ten Tuesday-Favorite books of 2022

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is our favorite books from 2022. Not sure how I am supposed to narrow it down to 10, but will give it my best shot 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Well, this should be easy since I marked 56 of the books I read this year as favorites 😂😂 Here are my top 10ish (in no particular order):

November Reading Wrap-up

I am afraid to do this post, LOL. I have no idea how many books I actually read in November and I don't really want to see how far from my reading challenge goals I am. I have already started thinking about my goals for next year, but maybe I need to focus on completing this year first!

I finished 8 books in November and DNF 1. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.
