This sounds fun, but possibly hard, LOL! Some of my words/descriptions might sound mean, and that is not my intention. October Reading Wrap Up 2026

October was busy, especially with moving, but I feel like I was still able to read a lot. It was a better reading month than the last few months have been, as far as ratings/enjoyment goes. I finished 20 books, and I had  two 2-star reads, so only 18 will be highlighted here.  Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? It has been a hot minute since I have done one of these posts (Sept. 19), and a lot of life has happened since then. We moved into our new house in the middle of last week and are mostly settled. I still need to finish the sewing room, we need to get the workout equipment set up, and hang pictures on the wall. We have had hiccups with the internet, my computer dying, some housing things needed fixing, etc. My daughter was here this weekend, getting ready to head back to Columbus in a little bit. Today is her birthday so we celebrated yesterday. Today my husband and I are planning a hike, and then I am not sure about the rest of the day, probably working on some of the things in the house I just mentioned that needed done. What are your plans for the weekend?

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? It was another long week, but less busy (thankfully) than last week. I was able to exercise every day this week so we are counting that as a win. We are not doing much this weekend, we are pretty wiped out. We are planning to go to Church. Other than that just normal stuff around the house (grocery pick up, laundry, all the fun stuff ;)).

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? Mine was busy and long. My daughter ended up sick so I was teaching all the classes for our business. I ended up canceling Friday's classes because I was having dizzy spells and just didn't feel great. I am teaching this morning, and we are trying Saturday evening Church instead of Sunday morning, so we'll see how that goes, but that means we can stay in all day Sunday and rest and relax. 

Sunday Spotlight #7-Return of the Song

Happy Sunday, friends! A few weeks ago I started doing a "Sunday Spotlight" where I highlight a book/author that deserves more love!  I take a book that I have read and enjoyed that has less than 100
reviews on Goodreads and give it some extra love by drawing it to your attention! Maybe someday I will host a link party (if I can figure it out) to make it easier to participate.
