 Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books with the Word “[Insert Word Here]” in the Title (Choose a word and find ten books with that word in the title.) I decided to go with the word "road" for today. I am spending a lot of time on the road looking for a new house, and traveling about, so it seemed fitting. Rendezvous update 2

So, part two of the JustRead Rendezvous 2024 reader event. You can read part one here. After lunch was another reader panel. Kimberley Woodhouse was the moderator of this one. Each author had to pick one of their characters to be and only answer as that character. It was hilarious. Several authors on the panel were suspense writers, and a couple were fantasy. Sara Ella was one of the authors and I loved her answers. She was in character as Alice in Wonderland from her book The Wonderland Trials. While I had read several authors books who were on the different panels throughout the day, hearing all the authors talk and interact made me want to read their books, even though several are genres I don't read. 

 

February 2024 Reading Wrap-Up

My review:

Nicole Deese has written another beautiful novel, The Words We Lost. She has quickly become an author I will automatically read when I see her name. Her books are deep, gritty, and carefully crafted. While this novel deals with grief, it is not as heavy of a read as anticipated. I actually put off reading this novel because of that.
