Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well.
Today's
Top Ten Tuesday is books I meant to read in 2023 and didn't get to. This is definitely one of the easier topics, but I'm not sure I want to know, LOL! Top Ten
Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Here are my forgotten books:
Some of these have been floating around longer than others 😂. Some of these I have checked out of the library multiple times!! I own 7 of these so maybe THIS will be the year they finally get read! Have you read any of these? Which ones should I move up the TBR mountain? What did you do this week?
I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
I found this topic easy, too LOL Maybe we can read them this year! Maybe :)
ReplyDeleteJen, let's not hold our breath, but maybe! Especially, if, uh-hum, we make a note of them, LOL!
DeleteThe Blue Castle was excellent!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Lydia, I have heard that from others as well. I really do want to read it, I need to stop getting library books for a while, LOL!
DeleteI haven’t read North and South either.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Astilbe
I have heard great things about it...even checked it out of the library twice. When I started to read it, the print was WAY too small, so I knew I needed another copy...
DeleteLooks like a good bunch! Hope you get a chance to read them this year, haha. The problem's always too many books, too little time, around here...
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
Nicky, same.
DeleteI really enjoyed SEEKING PERSEPHONE, but I liked its sequel COURTING MISS LANCASTER better. I haven't read any of the others in that series.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like NORTH AND SOUTH better than I did. I love the miniseries with Richard Armitage, but didn't really care for the book.

Jenni, I have heard great things about Sarah Eden's books, and need to try them. My book club buddies love the miniseries of North and South, but I don't want to watch it until I have tried the book.
DeleteI've got several books I've checked out of the library and renewed many times that I still haven't gotten to! I hope you are able to get to some of these soon!
ReplyDeleteHaze, same, LOL! Maye the library will think we love them and keep them in circulation until we are finally able to read them, LOL!
DeleteHopefully you get to read them this year. Regine
ReplyDeleteThanks Regine! Any books you wanted to read last year and did not get to?
DeleteCrime and Poetry was really cute! Though of course, I've meant to read more books in the series ever since I read the first one several years ago, but I haven't yet... ;-)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT this week. Happy reading!
Nicole, I totally understand that, LOL! My hold up is the "magical" realism...we'll see!
DeleteCrime and Poetry is on my TBR, although I didn't include it on my list today. I do have another Amanda Flower book on there, though. Have a great day. :)
ReplyDeleteMeezan, I will have to look. Assaulted Caramel is another one of hers I meant to read last year, sigh.
DeleteCrime and Poetry has been on my TBR forever. I really need to get to it soon. I hope you enjoy your books when you get to them.
ReplyDeleteYvonne, I own it, and have had it for over a year...not really sure when I bought it at this point.
DeleteThere are a lot of good-looking books here. I hope you get to read them this year, Cindy. Have a wonderful day ☕📚🪱☃️❄️💙
ReplyDeleteJody, sharing and bringing them back to the spotlight certainly helps :)
DeleteHope you'll love all of these when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsey, me too!
DeleteI read North and South a couple years ago and I really enjoyed it! Way more than I thought I would. I haven't read that Sarah Eden book, but it looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Hannah, good to know. Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteThis was an easy topic for me, too! The hard part was choosing only 10. Happy reading in 2024!
ReplyDeleteJoy, right?!
DeleteGreat list! I don't think I've read The Blue Castle yet, either, but I probably have it here. Hope you get a chance to read these this year.

Cheryl, I am going to work HARD to read them this year ;)
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these books, but I hope you are able to get to them in 2024 and enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, I am going to try hard!
DeleteI bet I'd like Crime and Poetry. I wonder if it includes both?
ReplyDeleteAnne, I am sure it does! But, ya know, if I ever actually read it I will be able to tell you for sure ;)
DeleteI hope you can read these books soon and that they are all that you wish they would be.

Thanks Pam!
DeleteRead Wither's Farm ASAP! It's one of my most favorites of her books. Definitely a 5-star for me.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I snagged it from the library AGAIN today (hadn't planned on it, I think it's the 4th time I've had it out). So, it *should* be soon!
DeleteYeah, this topic was a little TOO easy for me :) CRIME AND POETRY has been on my TBR list ever since I heard about it. One of these days, I'll actually read it. LOL. I hope you enjoy all these when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteSusan, LOL! I will be checking out your list soon.
DeleteSeeking Persephone is a cute romance. I liked that one a lot. But I absolutely love The Blue Castle. I recommend starting with those two first. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark!
DeleteThe only book on your list I've read is Molly. I really enjoyed that story. I hope you can get to it someday soon. Same for the other books on your list. 😀
ReplyDeleteNicole, I have read Molly. I wanted to re-read it and then binge the series ;)
DeleteI would say that North and South was one of the classics I've read in the last seven years that I thought was well written and well intentioned, but it did not hit me as emotionally as some of the others I have read. Probably just me!
ReplyDeleteDeb, I understand that.
DeleteMolly looks like it would be a lot of fun. I hope you get to these soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna!
DeleteI spy a few on your list that I read! Becky's is fun and I think I read Nicole's (I like what I read by her through the years), and "The Blue Castle," too! Hope you enjoy them all when you can finally read them, Cindy! As always, thanks for visiting my website this week, too!
