Advent by Chautona Havig is a quick read.
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is another freebie. I was going to go with covers with Christmas lights on them, but since I found exactly zero, I decided I should head in a different direction. Then I decided to share my top Christmas reads, until I realized I did that last year. So, I am going super generic and will be sharing books with Christmas trees on them. Then I am going to list a few things I am thankful for. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Tuesday-Ten Christmas books with Christmas trees on them that I haven't read yet, have you?
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape (bonus points if you tell us why!). I am of the mindset that ALL books (at least fiction) provide an escape, so I am tweaking the topic just a little bit to books I recently loved escaping into. In order to make the list, the books must have received 5-stars from me. And, since I have read a TON of romcoms recently...hopefully there is a little bit of variety in the list😂. Top Ten Tuesday: books I recently loved escaping into (tweaked it even more so I am not using the same author or series):
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Ten Favorite Books from Ten Series (We all have a favorite book in our favorite series, right?) (submitted by A Hot Cup of Pleasure). I will do my best to come up with ten!! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
My favorite book from ten different series
Crossroads #5 in the Holly Series-although I have LOVED every book in the series. I *think* this is my favorite, so hard to pick!!
I am not sure how July is over already. It was a busy month but I feel like I still got a decent amount of reading in. Let's see what the month actually looks like. I read 17 books and DNF'd one (which is the exact same as June 😮, although I had more novella's in July). Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Clock Tower Bound is the second book in the Bookstrings series. It can be read as a stand-alone novel, but I recommend reading them (including the novellas) in order.

My thoughts upon reading for the second time:
My second reading of Twice Sold Tales was even richer than my first reading. I recently read the novella Spines and Leaves which gives us great background on Milton (the book doctor) and Atticus (his parrotlet).
Series: A Bookstrings Novella #.5

Having read Twice Sold Tales, I was thrilled to find out there was a novella. Spines and Leaves is the perfect introduction to the series.
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Was Super Excited to Get My Hands on but Still Haven’t Read. So, I see we are having confessional today, LOL! I am not sure I really want to confess, but I will because I know I am not alone!! The hardest part is going to be narrowing it down to ten. I will also say, some were gifted, some were won, and some I did actually buy. Ten(ish) Shiny books still sitting unread on my book shelves:
I am happy to be participating in this monthly meme again! It is hosted by Jana @ Reviews From the Stacks. Here is how she describes the meme: Spell the Month in Books is a linkup hosted on Reviews From the Stacks on the first Saturday of each month.
November passed in a blur of work, travel, car troubles, and my son's ongoing recovery. I had some reading duds, but overall I think I had a
decent reading month. I read 13 books (low for me) and DNFed 1. Click on the cover of
the book if you are interested in the review.

Happy Tuesday and Happy Halloween my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Halloween Freebie. Today I am going to highlight some books with Halloween or fall vibes that are still on my TBR. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten-ish books with Halloween or fall vibes that I still need to read:
Normally I am late with these posts, but this time I am early, LOL. But, to be real, I know I am not going to read anymore big books before September 4th, and I won't get to anymore on my summer TBR. When I planned for these challenges I had NO idea I would lose my job and then spend 2ish months setting up my a small business. This REALLY cut down on my reading time.
So, what did I read. For the 20 Books of Summer Challenge, here were my possibilities (the ones I read are linked to my reviews):
