Stacking the Shelves #145, Sunday Post #142, Sunday Salon #136

Hey bookish friends! These past couple of weeks have been busy. This one had quite a bit of hard and stressful things. I have no idea what we are doing today,
possibly a hike, but probably just catching up on chores.
Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished four books this week. I have one more review to write, it should be up tomorrow (Sunday). Some of the library books are ones I own on Kindle and thought maybe if I had physical copies I might actually read them. I am trying to read from my physical and Kindle shelves, lowering those unread book numbers. We'll see how it goes.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: A Defense of Honor by Kristi Ann Hunter

Rendezvous Update Part 1

Top Ten Tuesday-Earliest Published Books on my Physical TBR

Book Review: Sanctuary Forever by Lisa Phillips

Rendezvous Update 2

Book Review: One for The Murphys by Linda Mullaly Hunt

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  1. That is one of my goals for this upcoming year to read what I have onhand, both physical books and Kindle. Then the library books keep coming in so...need to balance.

Great list of Christmas books you have!

    1. Tina, I have tried to find the balance this year. I think I did okay, but not great. But, some effort is better than none, right?!

  2. I'm not ready for snow and winter as yet, though we had cold rain and sleet recently. Have a good week.

    1. Harvee, ready or not we had our first snow on Thursday. It was earlier last year, so I'll take it :)

    1. Claudia, I find little pockets of time throughout my day to sneak reading into. Then I read about an hourish a night before bed, it all adds up.

  5. Weekends with no plans are sometimes the best. I have no plans myself. You have some great books there. I didn't realize you got free books at JustRead Rendezvous. I can't wait to go in 2025!

    1. Carla, we got swag bags that had 3 or 4 books in them (if a novella 4 books), and at the end of the day the giveaway table had leftover books and they were free for the taking.

  7. Enjoy your books, Mistletoe Season looks nice. 4 books in a week is great! I'm trying to read from my physical shelves too but I have soooo many ebooks pending also so I go back and forth.

  9. I'm sorry things have been hard and stressful! I hope this week is not, and that you're able to relax and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  10. I've noticed something I think relates to you, too, this week. If I have a pile of books to read, I get stressed. If I read all the books, I get stressed because I then have to write the reviews. In order words...stress!

    Happy Thanksgiving.

    1. Anne, you are not completely wrong, LOL! If the library books pile up and sit there too long I start feeling guilty for having them out of the library too long, LOL! I am a mess, but I love the books.

  12. It's been a busy weekend, but I have a closing coming up, so that's expected. Great books this week. I want to read Mistletoe Season. I ended up reading The Merry Matchmaker by Sheila Roberts instead of that one this year. Hope you enjoy your week

  15. Mistletoe Season has an irresistible cover. Fun!

I am just starting to decide what books I want to read next year. I am not sure if I am going to focus on what I have or to give away what has been sitting here a while and start fresh.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
