Top Ten Tuesday-Earliest Published books on my Physical TBR

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Oldest (aka Earliest Published) Books On My TBR (submitted by Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits). I am thrilled for another easy topic that doesn't require much brain power, LOL!  Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Ten books that were published forever ago (that I happen to own and should read):

Mansfield Park  July 2, 1814

A Christmas Carol December 19, 1843

The Gifted July 15, 2002
The Marriage Wish Jan. 1, 1998

The Murder at the Vicarage Oct. 1, 1930
Cards on the Table Nov. 1936
Day of Reckoning April 2002
Angel Falls March 2000
The Blue Bottle Club Jan. 1992
Whirlpool by Lorena McCourtney Jan. 2002

True confessions: I could have put more Agatha Christie's and more Jane Austen's but I am not entirely sure I want to read them all, and I did not want to showcase the same two authors.

Have you read any of these?? What should I move to the top of my TBR pile? What topic did you go with this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

    1. Regine, I have read other books by her, just not this one.

  2. Regarding your comment about adding more Agatha Christie and Jane Austen—I know the feeling! I could have added all of Shakespeare's plays that I haven't read yet, but I didn't want to feature mostly one author (well, playwright) either.

  4. I miss my home library of books that I gave away to clear space for another office/bedroom. I am thankful, though, I can always find them at libraries or online somehow.

  5. A Christmas Carol is on my list too! I haven't read any of the other books either, but I hope to read Mansfield Park sometime in the future. I hope you'll love these books when you read them :)

  6. A Christmas Carol is such an amazing read. It's the only Dickens book I've read. As for the two Agatha Christie books you have here, I highly recommend them both! LOL! What can I say, I enjoy her writing.

  7. I say to go for A Christmas Carol (it's very short. Easy read) and A Murder At the Vicarage, which I enjoyed very much. Happy reading!

  8. I think I had The Marriage Wish at one time. But since I wasn't reading it, I decided to donate it. I do love Dee's mystery books though! Thanks for visiting my list this week.

  11. A CHRISTMAS CAROL is the best! It's the only book I've ever read by Dickens in its entirely - LOL - but I do reread or listen to it every December because I love it so much. It's a short, easy read/listen, but it's very powerful and it always gets me in the Christmas spirit. I hope you love it and all these others!

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

    1. Thanks Susan! I haven't read it because I am intimidated by it. Not that I think it will take long to read, just that it might be hard to understand.

  12. I have been doing the Read Christie for two years now and I'm loving it. The Murder at the Vicarage was this year I think. I didn't like her books much when I started but now I'm hooked! Happy reading :)
