Top Ten Tuesday-Books that are easy to escape into

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape (bonus points if you tell us why!). I am of the mindset that ALL books (at least fiction) provide an escape, so I am tweaking the topic just a little bit to books I recently loved escaping into. In order to make the list, the books must have received 5-stars from me. And, since I have read a TON of romcoms recently...hopefully there is a little bit of variety in the list๐Ÿ˜‚.  Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday: books I recently loved escaping into (tweaked it even more so I am not using the same author or series):

Beauty and the Beach

Title: Beauty and the Beach Audiobook

Series: Falling for Summer

Narrators: Rylee Kuberra and John Rogers

Author: Gracie Ruth Mitchell

Publisher: Audible Audio

Genre: Contemporary Romance, RomCom, Fiction

Source: Net Galley/Hoopla

My Review:

Beauty and the Beach is the first book I have read by Gracie Ruth Mitchell, but it won't be the last. I was approved for an audiobook through Net Galley, but when I went to listen to it, it was gone. So, I listened from Hoopla and I recommend you do the same.

July 2024 Reading Wrap Up

I am not sure how July is over already. It was a busy month but I feel like I still got a decent amount of reading in. Let's see what the month actually looks like. I read 17 books and DNF'd one (which is the exact same as June ๐Ÿ˜ฎ, although I had more novella's in July). Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Stacking the Shelves #129, Sunday Post #126, Sunday Salon #120

Hey bookish friends! How are you doing? Last weekend, Saturday did not go according to my plans, so I don't think I will make any for this weekend ๐Ÿ˜‚ (and even that changed since I first typed it, I will be working at least part of the morning). It was a somewhat odd week, yesterday was my birthday and I am thankful to be beginning my 46th year on this planet. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Top Ten Tuesday-May Flowery Covers

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is May Flowers — Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with flowers on the cover, flower names in the title, characters whose names are flower names, stories involving flowers/gardeners). I am going to feature 10 books on my want to read list that have flowers on the cover. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
